France held out till fall 41. Despite taking all of France and later getting Spain to join the Axis had a had a hard time keeping the red hordes away.

Game ended ThunderLizard2 (Axis) defeats Old_Shane (Allies).

Allies held out until Dec 43. Axis controlled Russia, Middle East, parts of India and most of Great Britian with a toe hold on the US West Coast. China still holding strong for allies.

Thanks EarlyDoors. This tournament is on fire!
The level of the games have never been so high. A new branch of players are fast climbing the ranking very fast, old strategies are no longer valid, one must really be updated/current if you want to be competitive.
The latest update is still to be tested. The USSR is now much stronger and the victory for the Axis is more difficult ... we will see how the veterans manage the big changes.

Yes, thanks for the stats. My losses are against top players. Refuse to rack up wins against Bums. (that's a boxing term in the USA).
Ladders should balance that.

New ELO game ViFi (Allies) vs. AshFall (Axis). We're both new to this ELO business, far as I can tell.

I can report that the increase in US mobilisation for Japanese gains in China is huge. September 1940 and USA is already at 54%. Previous games it has been high 30's or low 40's at the same stage. Not good for the Axis. Advances have been halted whilst the high command check the new criteria.

It appears to be a one-off hit? Advances will resume with fingers firmly crossed....

Hi MrLongLeg, welcome

Find an opponent (often by posting in another thread)
Agree with your opponent that you're both happy for it to count as a ranking match
Agree any additional rules, if you scroll back through this thread it's often
1. no DoW on USSR before 1941
2. no diplo on Bulgaria
Post in this thread when the game starts
And again the result at the end

..good luck

Games ended:

DmitryN (Axis) defeats ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) --- Surrender May 1941. Standard all out cookie cutter on Russia. No point to continue. Chinese is always toast. Good game.

ThunderLizard (Allies) defeats ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) --- Surrender August 1941.
eraidor08 (Allies) defeats ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) --- Rain/Snow from November 1939 - April 1940

Lifetime Achievement Record 62-73

Conclusion:

a) might as just play with Reloads and no FOW. Like steroids, cannot compete unless doing. I'll never believe the fake results.
b) cookie cutter is a yawn
c) Pacific like the movie "On Golden Pond", could hear a pin drop, doesn't matter.
d) weather too dominate, (example: the first 6 Axis turns in BOTH China & Western Europe)
e) forums are woke
