Base is still holding though it surely must be getting to the breaking point.. lots more troops heading as well, My thoughts are that this will be like a dam breaking and after it then I will cut off Osaka and kill all these troops, leaving nothing signifigant between my forces and Tokyo... I lead about at 150%

If its May 45 are you winning on points or still behind?

Even though your trashing him now its close enough on points to be interesting, keep up the AAR.

Looks like you have 3-4 months to get the 23000 more VPs you need to gain an auto-victory (2-1) - not counting losses in the field. Just a quick glance at the VP tally shows that your margin is entirely due to base points and strategic points and there aren't many base points left for you. Same for ships and planes. So the large numbers of additional points you'll need will have to come primarily from Japanese armies and more strategic points. There are a few big Japanese armies left in China and at least one in Japan, plus the VPs. I still wonder if you wouldn't be better off racking up more strategic points by bombing Japanese cities to dust before capturing them. A captured city with industry/manpower intact is a city that could have given you more strategic VPs if you had waited. Of course, you might be running low on potential targets by now...

Several large Jap armies one concentration in and around Osalka at is dying on the vive, another around Tokyo th including troops recently pushed out of Kyota, Saporo has avoided being leveld by bad weather, but just knocked out 400 plus resources, current tally 63.7k 106.1k with maybe 10k in strategic possible and 15 k to take Tokyo, and maybe 45k in troops. The points are there it is simply a matter of collecting them.
The biggest problem for the Japs is no supplies, after I reduce Sapporo I will Zero out any remaining HI and Resources.. then start on the smaller air and armament factories.

It is around 05 20 1945
currently Japs are at 64k and Allies at 107 apx.. 21k to plus 2x any losses. The troops in the noose are in the Osaka pocket have no way of recieving outside supplies, the cities may produce a little, but they are surely going to croak, "ribbit" soon as their may be 750k troops there no way they can be being supplied.. no way no how! I am also landing up the coast to ctop supplies reaching into Tokyo.. I am soon going to hit Gumma, then Tokyo. My forces are tired but unbeatable... I am now using my air to pound away at his smaller factories...

When does the game end again? What deadline are you working against? (On vacation in Hawaii, my excuse for not reading the manual to answer these questions. :) )

He needs a 2:1 score in 1945 to win; so he is close, very close.

nearingthe end of 05 1945 64.5 to 109.6
I am attemptiong to get a 2-1 without A bombs by V-J day.. The game has screwed each of us in turn, recently my 1000 plus air repair dudes, Support suddenly went to zero and all my bombers went to a status of damaged.. no idea why in a base with 800k supply and lots of units that should all provide 250 air base .. darn now what are those guys called.. anyway.. stupid sh@t like this for each of us has plagued this game, BUTT! it has remained VERY enjoyable, esceipt for Z when I kick his bases by the use of massed heavies and for me when he raids my shipping with his dissappearing carriers, well they dissapeared for good now! [:D] I will take Tokyo... and the end in points sould follow that and there is a clear hex pathe to it now!
