TF 285 is the one I used to bombard Darwin and now they are headed for Subic Bay in order to bombard Manila. The minefield at
Bataan is going to be cleared out shortly and then these guys will go into action. I hope Manila doesn't suffer much damage but I'm
afraid it will.

I had intended for supply to be unloaded in the Port Moresby hex to my troops but I neglected to remember that there's no friendly port
there and I need an amphibious mission for that and my TF has a cargo mission and can't unload. D'oh. Now I gotta go back to Buna
and fix it. To fix it what you do is disband the TF and reconstitute it with the different mission. No unloading needed.

I happened to be nosing around the Pago Pago area and noticed quite to my surprise that somehow I have the recon capability to know
that Pago Pago has at least one ship parked there and at least one aircraft of some type. I can't imagine that one of my Mavis units can
see that far south but hey, maybe it can. Either that or the game engine always puts those anchor and runways symbols on hexes that
have that type unit in it. I donno.

That's because of Sig Int report. You detected radio transmission at Pago Pago.

Sometimes when you're really lucky, you detect 2 transmissions from same base and you might actually see what kind of ships there is, and how many airplanes.

Fuel and oil are starting to pile up at Palembang so I'm routing all the empty TK's I can find to go there to remove their share of the
goodies. Fuel is problematic because of spoilage but oil is needed in the home islands pretty badly so I sort of need to move both.

I'm guessing it was all those carrier airstrikes that has provided this windfall of recon. Either that or it's the sub I have in the Townsville
harbour. I can see the numbers on the combatants and have a better idea about what's there now.
