I am working on reconing other bases, he has a habit of not really defending bases, I might find another that is better.

No land or naval combat.
In the air all of my airstrikes were grounded by weather.
In China Xargun bombed my troops in the hex between Nanning and Liuchow.
The Chinese air force intervened, not as successful as before, but they did well
Plus, the Chinese only suffered one pilot KIA.
A kill ratio of 3.33 to 1 is acceptable coupled with the single pilot loss.
I am always happy to shoot down IJN aircraft, more possible pilot losses.

In the air over Lashio it appears that the K-84r Frank is not the world beater Xargun thinks it is.
He did successfully bomb my troops and caused enough disruption to keep me from taking the base
But the forts were reduced, that will help. My troops are considerably fatigued and disrupted, they need
to rest a few turns. I have a mortar unit four turns out.

Here is the current situation and future actions in Burma
The green arrow is 3 Australian Divisions with support advancing on Warazup and then on to Myitkyina.
From there they will move to Lashio and then on down South on the minor road towards Chang Mai.
The Blue arrow is 4-5 Indian divisions with support advancing on Katha and then they will
move to take the bases in the clear/developed valley and on to Taung Gyi and Toungoo.
and eventually moving to Pegu.
The red arrow is the 2 British divisions, 2-3 Indian divisions and a lot of armor moving to take Prome and then
Rangoon.
The Yellow boxes and line are the 19th Indian Division that is loading now on LSIL attack transports and will
land at Ramree Island. I have the British CVs and a CVL that will cover this operation along with LRCAP
from Akyab. The ACTF has 152 Corsair IIs and 28 Martlet IIs. I have 125 P47D2s available at Akyab for LRCAP
I hope it will be enough. One thing is that he can not sweep his own base, so he has to send in bombers
with escorts, I hope I can shoot down enough. Plus the LSILs will unload in two or less turns, so I do not have
to stick around long.

He did a bit better sending night bombers to Lashio, I lost 5 P-400 and 3 Hurricane IIb fighters there
I put the Hurricanes on night patrol, but he probably will not bomb again.
A lot of my bombers hit troops at Mandalay, some destroyed devices, so disabled devices.

On the ground in the hex between Nanning and Liuchow
In the air over Mandalay he put up some LRCAP of Ki-84r Franks. Unfortunately m y P-38 sweepers were not able to deal with them.
I lost 8 - P-38F Lightning fighters( 7 air-2-air and 2 ops) along with 10 Wellington Ic bombers( 8 air-2-air and 2 ops)
I lost some USAAF bombers to ops, but I do not know if they were from here or not. Xargun lost 2 Franks( 1 air-2-air and 1 ops )
Xargun bombed a number of my troops at various locations. Some damage taken and he lost 9 G3M3 Nells ( 7 flak and 2 ops )
Not a good day in the air, but this is the fate of the Allies at this time with the variants Xargun took. It will be a few months before
I have the P-47D25 available in numbers to overcome his Frank advantage. But I am losing older models of aircraft and not too many pilots
so things are not terrible bad.

One question I had was how well the first model of CV capable Corsairs would do. The first encounter says they will do fine.
I have no idea why he has he Judys bombing from 16,000 feet, they will not dive bomb from that altitude.
