heavy Russians ground attack down south. I get pushed back near my crossing spot over the Donuts.

West of Rostov Rumanian units have been pummeled. I will try and hold on while I build armor reserve.
Please note complete lack of Russian air recon.

My reserve tank force remains unobserved for now.

I think I ended the last turn a few moves short and left the river unguarded.

Hyla attacks over in what looks like an attack of opportunity. I will crush the invaders and regain the river line.

RR cuts do damage as my tanks on train wanted to come this direction.

No recon. FOW indeed

Rundstedt's Mech rating increased to a 6. nice.

Attack near Leningrad runs into reserve activation.

Down south both side are countering around the port of Tarnopol.

This was a bad German loss to start the weeks activities.

T58 OPEN VIEW

Post by BrianG »

Up north very light Russian activity and a major retreat. I had read this is Hyla's strategy.

It makes my situation easier as I will need less troops to man the north front in the coming months.

South open. Heavy pressure along the sea and around the rr junction.

Again no recon.

How long will my tank reinforcements remain hidden

You have some interesting command penalties that hurt this close battle (1.44:1).

You might want to reduce these penalties. In the 8MP AAR I will post soon that I spent a lot of admin points to focus commands to reduce penalties. I have come to learn that the 20% penalty for direct attachment to OKH is enough to provide the Soviet Union the advantage they need ...

Just a thought ..

There may not be much point in continuing northern ops aside from finishing off Leningrad. Gaining real estate in the south is now the much more worthwhile endeavor.
