(1) Though one of my shortest set of briefs for the first (allied) impulse of the turn, I did take a lot of time planning.

(2) The situation for the CW in West Africa dictated that they move with haste to (attempt) to isolated the Italian army in Morocco, all of which except a Terr & 1 bomber are flipped!

(3) The Italian 50/50 assault to take Casablanca was a bit aggressive and now gives the CW and French a good opportunity to trap and eventually destroy that army.

(4) Maybe the Italians shouldn't have attacked but where I sat last impulse that was their best chance to take Casablanca and start rolling up the allied forces in positions in Morocco.

(5) Of course, if I knew that land combat modified roll was going to be 18, I wouldn't have attack.

(6) The BRIEF for the CW to flank to isolate was given high priority. This is rare for a brief and translates to a direct order to execute without question.
