I vouch for Frozenbyte's games. Shadowgrounds series is excellent top-down shooters (review for lulz) and Trine series is quite decent platformer (not as fun as Broforce though). Though neither series aren't the best of their respective genres, they're still very much enjoyable if you haven't got enough of those genres by now. And both series have multiplayer, so those can make for good party games to take along. Especially if you have laptop, few gamepads, and HDMI cable [;)]

Yes, there's a Sandbox section for player submitted missions. How it works is players will pitch their mission idea to the community in the forums and if they get more than 10 votes, we'll work with the player to add it to the game.

Yes, there's a Sandbox section for player submitted missions. How it works is players will pitch their mission idea to the community in the forums and if they get more than 10 votes, we'll work with the player to add it to the game.
