Sorry guys, I know the puppies are simply adorable, but they have already been "booked" (I don't know if this is the best word but I suspect you understand what I mean).
So, no Jamthounds for you guys. From next week and onwards though, I will play with them extensively on behalf of my THREAD brothers [;)]
Hmm ... it seems I can't upload pictures any longer. I think the puppies in their awesome cuteliness broke the script [:'(]
You can still link using the IMG tags though. Get to work! [:'(]

Matrix created this forum as a benefit for game users. In essence, payment for it's games went to creation of this forum , and paying for it's upkeep. That's what I was trying make clear. Apparently , like taking cable, water, and other services without paying for them, that's ok for some people. For us old geezers , not so much. [:(]
No sir. The forum is a marketing device, the reasoning being that if someone is interested enough in a topic to look at the forum, they will be even more motivated to buy the game if they join a community of likeminded enthusiasts on the forum. Worked for me.
You mean that the drivel (yours included) from the THREAD and other venues on this forum enticed you to buy the game? Well, I guess I'm supporting Matrixgames on a daily basis...[:'(]
I started with the drivel after I realized that the most vocal and prolific people on this forum arnt worth the energy to argue with. [/serious note]

Apparenty your German isnt up to the task either. [:'(]
My German? [:D]
Yes, your German. The man (and I use the term loosely) tells you something in your very own, native language and you draw a complete blank? The German educational system bust be even worse than ours. Oh the shame! [:D]

old old inside joke. I used to know a guy who like myself wrote alternate naval fiction back in the day. His main character was named "Baron Letters".....a distinquished fictional German naval officer from the Great War who took over from a killed Admiral Hipper during the Battle of the Dogger Bank. He won that battle and then took over the fleet for the Jutland engagement....using his own homemade naval wargame he proceeded to game virtually every British battleship and battlcruiser blowing up after hit after hit. Became sort of a running joke as MEIN GOTTT! got tossed around during the battle descriptions.
my favorite scene was where the 3 x KGV class battleships all blew up in sucession.
BOOM!
MEIN GOTT!!!!
BOOM!!
MEIN GOTT!!!!!
BOOM!!!!

I am not a happy Kiwi this morning, in fact I'm absolutely gutted.
Two New Zealand Defense Force ships, have been refused entry to Pearl Harbor. It is the first time in 28 years New Zealand has been invited to take part in the biennial exercise which this time is the biggest yet, involving 22 nations, 42 ships, six submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel. New Zealand is contributing 350 personnel and has sent the the Anzac-class frigate HMNZS Te Kaha as well as the HMNZS Endeavour fuelling ship. [:(]
This is in response to the anti-nuclear legislation banning nuclear armed or propelled vessels from our ports. USN ships are still welcome in our ports, as long as they are not nuclear armed or propelled vessels. The other 40 ships taking part in the Rimpac exercise are able to berth in Pearl Harbour, including the first Russian destroyer to take part in the exercise. So it is now clear how much the USN regards one of it's most loyal Allies. [:@]
