I just ambushed and sank an entire 30 ship invasion fleet outside Akyab with just a handful of RN cruisers and destroyers, March '42.  The Hermes with its 12 Albacores got in on the action, too.  Intel was very reliable leading up to this!

"The guns were so hot at the end of the action that all the paint had peeled off them."

Indeed, most of the ships systems took a lot of abuse, and are all headed home to patch up.

I can't remember when I watched anything on TV that was not recorded (and FFed for commercials)... I have IPTV and I can record almost anything that interests me (and I have additional HDD / DVD Recorder as well which can record stuff permanently on either HDD or DVD)...

Hi all,

Good evening...

Yesterday and for the whole last month we had whole day temperatures around 0 (or below) degrees Centigrade (usually with whole day fog and overcast - very few sunny days with blue skies lately)... but today it is +12 degrees Centigrade...

Tomorrow it will be above +15 degrees Centigrade (and it is beginning of December with Christmas just around the corner)! [X(]

Lovely night away and great room / accomodations. Tasty breakfast this morning too at our own private table (our seating had n=2 in it). We stayed in a renovated carriage house made up in an Agatha Christie theme, "murder on the orient express". The room was made like a railcar. Well, a railcar with its own steamshower and oversized whirlpool. [:D]

Wife unit decided that we must have the steam shower unit in our custom bathroom. So, in addition to the room fee for the evening, this little getaway will set me back...oh...about $30,000. [:D]

Then we went 'antiquing'. [8|]
