The Japanese ground strike on Vladivostok was pointless.

Japan rail the 25TH Army from China to French Indo-China.

Italy rail Balbo (HQI) from Greece to France.

Italy enters Alexandria and overruns the British submarine based there. What port do you want the submarine to rebase to?

Yes. But it can not rebase to Port Sudan because that harbour is controlled by Italy.

It can reach as far as Singapore, Batavia, Cape Town, Scapa Flow or Halifax. Pretty much any CW port you want is within range. Except Australia and New Zeeland.

Japan advance from Manchuria towards Chita and a cavalry division reach the Trans-Siberian railway.

----

Germany declare four attacks against USSR. Japan makes one attack against the Soviet forces next to Vladivostok, they also make one attack in Central China.

The German attack odds from North to South as follows:
50:5 (incl shore bombardment from Bismarck)(USSR select LCT)
73:7 (+1 due to disorganized defender, USSR select LCT)
57:11 (+2 due to disorganized defender, USSR select LCT)
51:13 (incl Ger ground sup)(+3 due to disorganized defender and to blitz bonus, Germany select LCT.)

Will USSR fly any defensive ground support?

The attacks against Riga and Vilnius were automatic.

The assault on Kiev was a disappointment.

Edit: The attack on Vilnius resulted in a FTR2 being overrun. I rebased it to Pskov.

The last attack in USSR did not go as well as I would have liked. But at least my forces stayed organized. After some consideration I convert the shattered Soviet units to a retreat. I rather not let a HQ get away.

Odessa will be a tough city to take with the retreated infantry. But I take comfort in that the HQ had no retreat route and was destroyed.

Italy rebase a LND3 (ATR) to Malta.

Germany rebase a FTR2 and a LND2 to Belorussia.

Rundstedt (HQA) reorganize four units.

Italy is rather surprised that their advance into Egypt has encountered so little resistance so now they suspect that CW is up to some kind of trickery and has lured them into some sort of trap. When things go to easy...

The CW choose a combined and declare war on Portugal. The US couldn't give a flying **** about it.

Who do the Portugese align with?
Where do they set up their INF, MIL, Destoyer Flotilla and CP?
A Large RN task force sails for the Bay of Biscay, do the Axis want to intercept?

No interception. That fleet will stay in the sea area. Or so my intelligence officer tell me. So I bide my time and observe what happens.

Would it be considered bad manners to align Portugal to Japan? I am on the fence here.
