Are you referring to the lack of reporting from the Cape St Vincent?

I have yet to check how it went. But judging by the die rolls I think that if Allies has less than 10 convoy points in the sea area then there are no combat. If it is 10 or more then it is a combat. But since I can't open MWIF at the moment I can not check it.

Edit: Axis rolled 5 and Allies 4.

I was thinking that at first. But naval searches and such usually takes long time.

What do you prefer? Begin the impulse now or tomorrow? In the morning?

Onwards it is.

Last end of turn I noticed that there was a partisan roll for Persia. The USSR garrison there needs reinforcing.

I'll check it out - I thought it was 3.5 (rounded to 4) so okay....maybe I've forgotten something. I'll incorporate in my orders.

Any thoughts on how to proceed?

Taking a naval with CW seems obvious. But should all focus be on the Gibraltar area.

I am curious as to why Italy bought a convoy point last turn when they have 6 points in port. They have made no effort to bring the Sardinian resource to production. I am thinking that they expect a need for sea supply...

Yes. Maybe there was a unit disorganized last turn because Persia is "safe" at the moment. Although replacing the cavalry division is a wise plan. It is a very good unit at the front.

Its annoying but I don't think there is much else to do but concentrate on Gibraltar and then prayers for rain (as The Cure would say).

I can't see that we can do much else other than the same as before:

Naval with the CW
- cover everything we can
- make concerted effort to hold the Bay of Biscay (Bismarck a concern), the Western Med and Cape St Vincent (supply and shore bombardment of Gib).

Only question is whether we put the TRS and troops to sea in case Gib holds on (but needs replacements) - or do we say enough is enough and look to build up elsewhere?

THAT is a tough call....

Ormster, re your comment on the convoy line, what is it that you were doing exactly? Are you trying to work out what the production position is if the turn ends now by checking what can be routed where?

EDIT: Ignore that - I see what you just said in the AAR thread.
