Roll Call of Longevity

Played Pacwar from the day it was released.  played the matrix rework when it was released and downloaded witp the day it was released.  i've had a on again off again as to playing but I always come back and it has never left my HD.  When I have gotten new systems it's always the first non system program I load.

Got original PacWar in 1994, followed by the Matrix edition, UV and WitP within days of their respective releases. Last three never left the hd. Still play PacWar and UV on the old Windows 98 laptop when 'obliged' to share the couch with the wife while she is watching TV [;)], WitP when 'free' and at work during lunch break. Pretty much the only games I play in my spare time, although I work for a games distributor and have free access to hundreds of titles - they are simply the best!

Don't know the exact date I downloaded the original, but my downloads folder for the v1.02 patch is dated 11 Jul 04.  I doubt I've played any other wargame since; the only possibility would be an old DOS version of Third Reich.  Between school and other activities I haven't had a lot of time for games for a while, and pretty much stick to those that are stand-alone and quick (things like Snood, Freecell, and the like) since I can't guarantee I'll get back to a WitP game within 2 weeks of any given turn.  Nevertheless, it hasn't been abandoned!
