I'm game for the AAR ... do we want to include a two-turn delay or go realtime?
Given the devious diplomatic dealings, I think even 2 turns would be too soon. Perhaps a player just posts whatever info they wish to whenever, subject to the wrath of Allies, if one is indiscrete? Just my .02.

Also, since we'd be posting comments about turns being sent, and "how-to's," and some game events (those known to all players?), I'd prefer it if the AAR thread were not too filled with graphics. One thing that'd help there is to clip and size any pics to only what's needed, or in any case sized down to 800x600.

So, in one of my more retarded moves i accidentally gave 10pp to Britian... Played the wrong card. This game is not too forgiving without an undo button for non-combat stuff like that. But its still my fault [:(]

Anyway, i would please ask as a gentlemans agreement that the 10pp be given back on the next turn.

It is Scandanavia's turn.

That went quicker than I thought. My turn has just been sent to Italy. I see a lot of deals have been struck on the first turn [:)].  All quiet so far....

With regards to AAR's its up to each of you individually if you want to post now or later. Personally I am going to post on about turn 4 as I haven't really much to report yet. I will then post turns 1, 2, 3 then.

Please feel free to post when and what you want yourselves. Each of you will have your own reasons when they want to post. If you do try making it as colourful as possible [;)]

Turn 2 forwarded to The Balkans. Internal strife and unrest threaten to disrupt my afternoon naps since agreeing to assume control of the government to aid our beloved people. So much for rest and relaxation, perhaps another bottle of wine will calm my nerves. I was so looking forward to summer at Club Med...

@ Bullldog: did you catch the stuff about starting a new thread in the AAR forum, and moving our discussion over there?

EDIT: in post #78

As the instigator of this game, the privilege is yours ... but not the obligation :)

If you wish to delegate that task, I could do it Tuesday ... tomorrow is hectic, unless someone else volunteers.

Slowhand, your quite welcome to start the AAR thread. I think the confirmation of each players turn should still be here on the opponents wanted thread e.g. 'Have sent turn 2 to Italy'. Just so we know who we are waiting for.

I will have to get to grips with using MS paint, never used it before looks quite simple. I am in a bit of a mess being a noob in that I have no supply and all troops are using foot movement so I don't want to embarass myself until something more interesting happens and I get my units into better shape [:(].

LOL my real life is on hold just waiting for the turn to get to me.

I think it must be France who has the turn, as it comes to me after france and I've seen nothing.

The French President had no other choice than to declare war to Spain. Due to an extreme shortage in Red Wine due to high demand from Elysee Palace and from Reichskanzlei in Berlin France has to expand its wineyards. It is obvious that Spanish wine production could definitely help to overcome this critical shortage quickly.

French navy and airforce formations started some heroic probe attacks on Spanish naval forces, just to find out, that those bastards shoot back. Propaganda messages from Spain mentioning shut down planes and sunken submarines are highly exagerated.

I am aghast, sir. Aghast! After all Spain has done to preserve the peace between our nations...

The peace loving nation of Spain prefers to limit its aggression to political dissidents within her own borders, but now we shall unite to preserve our superior wine, 6 hour work days and 4 hour afternoon siestas!

The Spanish flag shall fly on the Eiffel Tower as we dine on Foie Gras and drink cognac.

This kind of brilliant speechifying should be in an AAR thread where people will "look" for it naturally, as opposed to here in 'Opponents Wanted," IMHO. But I'll have to wait until tomorrow, cause it's too late here. Night all.

Okay, okay, I've started an AAR thread for those interested. Feel free to spill the beans or boast of your exploits. Find it here:

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1669754

Hope I haven't given too much away.

P.S I think it would be wise now to use the above thread to discuss anything rather than 'opponents wanted' as suggested by Slowhand. Therefore can we from now on just use the opponents wanted thread to tell us when they have had their turn.

Hope this is okay. Thanks guys.

I have moved, given the 10pp back, and sent the turn on to Russia. This is a very friendly world, almost everyone is at peace!

Turn 2 sent on from Russia to Turkey. No blood yet. Hard to keep track of all the Peace Feelers flying around.
