Our forces have capture Vigan, Aparri, Mauban and Lingayen and advance quickly pursuing enemy fleeing forces.
At Aparri, the support elements advance to Tuguegarao with 14th Army HQ, Tanaka Infantry Det, 8th Medium FA Reg, 9th Ind. Heavy Artillery Bn, 15th Ind. Artillery Mortar Bn (8x320 mms), 2nd Ind. Art Mortar Bn (12 x 150 mms), 3rd Ind. Eng. Regiment and 21st Ind. Eng Regiment.
At Mauban stand off 16th Eng Regiment and 20th Infantry Regiment (16 Infantry Division) with 16th Recce Regiment marching to Batangas.
Finally, after the heavy combats at Lingayen, our victorious forces advance pursuing enemy elements to Clark Field. The enemy lost 4.067 men, 82 guns and 7 vehicles with 2 units retreating and one more destroyed. (Our losses were 154 casualties and 4 vehicles out of combat). The following forces are marching to Clark: 1st Formosa Inf. Regiment, 9th Infantry Regiment (both from 48th Division), 4th Tank Regiment and 2nd Tank Regiment. For the other hand the 7th Tank Regiment are marching to capture Iba.
At Vigan, the Kanno Det is marching to Bayombong, the 48th Arty Regiment (48th Division) is marching to San Fernando with 48th Engineer Regiment garrisoning Vigan awaiting reinforcements. We are awaiting tomorrow the landing of 48th Recce Regiment at San Fernando. We are awaiting the landing of 47th Inf. Regiment aboard ships anchored off Vigan.
At Legaspi are landing the Kimura Detch and Kure 1st SNLF. We are awaiting tomorrow Legaspi will be in our hands. Enemy floatplanes (11xPBY) have attack our amphibious forces getting damages on 3 cargo ships. I must request air fighter support for CAP over our landing forces in this area.
Logistic report:
Lingayen : 7.305 tons of supplies.
Mauban: 4.436 tons of supplies.
Vigan: 4.338 tons of supplies with another 19.881 tons aboard ships.
Aparri: 73.618 tons of supplies.
Legaspi: 13.568 tons of supplies aboard ships.
Air facilities:
Aparri: AF level 1 (expanding 37%) with 100 engineer squads working hard to level up. 44 aviation support and 3rd Ku-T-1 Recce with 8 C5M2 Babs flying recon missions over enemy positions.
Vigan: AF level 2 (expanding 8%) with 65 engineer squads working in the level up. 23 Aviation support with 16th and 50th Sentai flying ground attack operations vs enemy forces in the Lingayen area.
Lingayen : AF damaged after naval and air bombardment (15 airfield service, 11 airfield runaway).
