I am amazed that you have followed 70 or so posts about football (soccer), Steiner. Shouldn't you be sleeping out of boredom by now? Could it be that you in reality are a soccer fan?[:)]

Nah, warpedbrain wore me down. BUT, I am going to be part of an invasion force that will defeat a certain snotty country, so I bide my time. Hint, Peter, John and Marjorie are in for a shock.

And here is our new super-weapon:

England to win. I can't recall a tourney where the lead-up interest was so small, and the expectations so low. Add to that a new manager generally regarded as total sh*te in the UK and a decidely average team, they are dead certs to win IMHO, probably via several dodgy goals and penalty shoot outs.

Would like to see Greece win, personally. The poor buggers could do with cheering up a bit.

How do you mean ol' buddy ol' pal?
I feel 3 points for the correct score is to much compared to one for the correct result. I feel an urge to complicate things if it is just a few of us that join. If there are many of us I suggest 2 points for a correct result and 1 additional point for a correct score.

But as I said I have an urge to make things a bit more complicated if there are just 2 to 4 or so of us.

Okay - let's see who signs up first.

I'll give it a whirl

He might have forgotten to sign up. But that is ok since I remembered to do it for him.[8|]

Steiner would never miss out on a soccer competition including both Germany and England. Never.[:)]

I'm in. Though what if the same people predicting the same results? Are we guessing the score or if it will be a draw or lose or win? The score would be better I think.

Probably a score would be a tie-breaker. That's how wew do it over here.

Only problem I can see is the much lower scores than we have. If two people have the same score on a tie-breaker, we may have to pick a number or something.

Just thoughts.
