Kaga & Akagi left shipyard. All carriers upgraded and ready for action again.


South Pacific

43 B-26 with 41 P-40 hit Kandavu Island destroying 2 E13A1 on ground.

Australia

88 B-17, B-24, LB-30 hit Brisbane at night. This time I had surprise for Jocke. :)
14 4E down by flak and over 30 damaged just for 2 fighters destroyed on ground.

In revenge 29 Sllys form 12th and 14th Sentais bombed at night Sydney. 2 B-17 destroyed on ground for 1 Ki-21 down by flak.

5th, 33rd, 64th and 203rd Sentais fly over Calcutta. 72 Ki-43-IIa, 39 Ki-43-IIb engage 96 Hurricanes I & II b/c. Returning pilots report 13 Hurricanes shot down and 9 Oscars down.

Several night engagements near Wellington. Two group of my CAs fail to find enemy, only light ships engaged allied cruises. It did not go well, allied destroyers scored several torpedo hits on my destroyers. :(. At day allied bombers try to him my withdrawing ships without positive results.

Very quiet day. My air units needs a few days rest. I am quit happy with result of one week long air offensive. Allied losses ~163 a/c, Japanese losses 140 a/c and 21 pilots. He will very miss all those a/c in near future. Over 70 kills belong to Ki-45KAIa.
