I am sad to see that so few object to the increased 'curiosity' by companies.

Perhaps because the OP hasn't *proved* his latest claim.

That might be true. But I got the impression that most do not care even if it was true.

Orm, with all the increased espionage/spying from all countries, terror threats looming, child sex rings. Its hard to imagine there is not some kind of looking into everyone's internet activities. We, can complain, and try and protect our selves with anti-spybot programs. But to think that tyrannical governments will care about our complaints is folly. Private companies gathering data I wish it weren't so but not all companies are going to be as respectful of our privacy. Since I don't have steam games I know they aren't taking my info.

Ever see the Star Trek episode with the headphone brainwash equipment. I see you've all been wearing one. [:'(]

There is no might about it. He has *not* proved it. So I'll just put in the conspiracy theory circle file.

I heard that this guy installed Steam ...and that Steam sucked out all his thoughts through his headset. And then they processed his thoughts and looked through all his ideas ...and they discovered that he worked for a pharmaceutical company and was researching a cure for baldness ...and Steam took those thoughts and twisted them and put them back in his head...only without the important facts..so this guy..he invented nothing ... and that's because Steam own toupee factories all over China..and that's how they make their money that enables them to spy on people's thoughts...
Well...that's what I heard ...so soon as i finish this warning i will throw my laptop in the river ... and live like its 1982 all over again.
