Yes, intercept and first kill bomber, first abort fighter. My fighter lands to same hex it took off.

Thanks Orm,

It would appear the program isn't recognising the double range for the rebase.

That's a new one for me. Can you post a gamesave in the tech support forum?

Have done so.

The ME-109's scramble to protect their Wehrmacht colleagues. They are met by the French escort who, despite inferior machines, give a good account of themselves and hold them off long enough to allow the bombers through.

The subsequent "strike" is a disappointment.

The USSR enters Eastern Poland. News of atrocities committed against Polish officers reaches the US who react with horror (1 chit removed on a 4).

They carry on to take possession of the Baltic States but this time the US aren't bothered (7 rolled).

The Communists move on Tungkwan. The Nationalists adjust their positions, as do the French.

One land combat declared by the Communists. Current odds 12.5:2 +12.5. Do the Japs wish to fly any ground support?

Yes please, both NAV and FTR (as bomber) will fly and return to same hexes they started.

Japan chooses assault table.

The air support brings the odds down but luck favours the Chinese.

S/O 39 Axis 5

Germany declares war on Netherlands. US weren't bothered on an 8.

Germany and Italy combined, Japan Land.

Germany sends 4 CL's loaded with one INF div to North Sea. Italy sends transporter to Red Sea and picks up INF.

Germany is not willing to initiate combat in North Sea, how about CW?

Wouldn't make any difference if they tried, so no.

Germany rails GAR to Frederikshavn.

Germany launches 2 ground attacks, one with invasion to Rotterdam where Dutch ships are.

Rotterdam +20 with notional or +21 without notional. I assume CW goes with notional.
Attack vs Dutch INF is +16 blitz.

Attack in China is +19. Almost automatic attack vs div is too tempting (2 BPs is 2 BPs). Japan is still thinking if they take the city in fear of USE roll.

Does China choose assault or blitz?

Unlikely to make much difference but assault.

Without that Polish INF I would have railed and reorganized other div too and take both cities in Netherlands... I messed up in planning.

Japan occupied city and US reacted on roll 2.

I covered screen with paper and picked that chit without seeing anything. Who needs hot seat? :)
