Getting closer to send out my first 2D Graphics release candidate package to Mr Petho...
Attached a snippet of night action from "Shuneri at the Crossroads", but with Visible Hexes outlined instead of shadowing. I prefer to see my terrain.
(Also playing with FOW turned OFF, to observe how the AI behaves. It is shooting at me!)
That's a sample of night action, with special night terrain BMPs. For night displays, the underlying terrain is less bright, is reduced contrast. The units, flares, gun flashes, terrain features etc. -- these are unchanged between day & night, and overlaying the darkened terrain makes them stand out more. The daytime displays are less "dramatic" looking (less high contrast) than this.ORIGINAL: Crossroads
