Don't forget those Italian frogmen, dude. Or those nasty German radio-controlled bombs.

Ah yes, the R/C bombs.....first used on the Italian ships that had been surrendered to the Allies IIRC.

How are we gonna reproduce "Faith, Hope, and Charity?"

Bah humbug, was just a British myth;)

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Only over 700 German U-boats (Not to mention the LAND!! Campaigns)

The big problem with HOI is the AI. Playing as the Soviets im in Berlin in 1942.

Kinda makes me think it needs a little bit of a tweek. Not sure how the naval is as ive only played the Soviets so far.
Nothing quite like the feel of something new....

I wonder if Faith, Hope and Charity lasted as long as they did because the Luftwaffe pilots refrained from attacking the museum pieces...

Make it a squadron of 3 Gladiators and 15 pilots with average experience of 87%. That should model the situation reasonably (okay, start with a few more Gladiators...)

Think we could repeat this

combat report
allies

BB Warspite
BB Malaya
BB Barham ( ithink she was there)
a few destroyers( Aussie ones too!)

Italians
Ca Pola 58 shell hits and sunk
Ca (i forget) lots more shell hits and sunk

Im weak on the facts, but imagine Taranto

Anyone who thinks the Med wouldnt be exciting should just follow BB Warspites Med experiences:
Convoy escorts
shore bombardments
surface engagements
covering evacuations
a million air attacks
beating the Ities at every turn, now there was a battlewagon used the UV way, in battle!, at every opportunity.!!!

Bring it on!!!!
Big seas, Fast ships, life tastes better with salt
