The Allied bombing campaign is ruthless! The Germans will really have to focus on military production (MPP) in 1943 or we will lose a war of attrition. I will provide a big update tonight.

German Income is very difficult to manage right now. I will re-cap some of the variables causing this below.
Imports from Sweden - The winter route is temporarily closed. Sweden is around 6% Axis so the convoy route is still in jeopardy.
Vichy Collaboration Policy - Worth 20 MPP per turn, I am not receiving this income due to the Vichy France's current Allied leaning.
Imports from Norway - Allied bombers are methodically bombing the route but periodic shipments do make it to Germany.
Allied Bombing Campaigns - Allied bombers have had devastating success throughout 1942 targeting German and occupied industrial centers resulting in large amounts of forgone MPP.
Slow advance into the Caucasus - Romania finally captured Maikop in the fall of 42'. With low supply Germany is still not reaping the benefits. In fact oil shortages will begin to effect German supply soon unless key objectives in the Caucasus region can be captured which will continue to drag down MPP.

BPINisBACK why did you put so much effort in Norway? It seems to me like wasted effort...
I think those troops will be more useful in the Continent... What good can they do up there? The cost of transport must have been great!

Quick update:
1) Norway is liberated!! Axis morale falls.
2) St. Malo is captured. US parachutes also advances into the Center of France conquering a new village.
3) Desert Rats step ahead a new hex, Rommel is threatened after an italian corps is destroyed.
4) Soviets forces regroup in order to continue their advance in Filand.
5) Leningrad: more reinforces and refitting in order to push back the german forces. The fall of Leningrad is improbable in this situation.
6) Moscow: a new CA by soviet forces. One italian corps and a german rocket is destroyed. Again, Moscow is far from the frontline. Moscow won't fall in the next turn (i think that the city is quite safe).
7) Caucasus: no more advances in the Baku area but soviet forces advances over Astrakan city.
Sooooo funny!!!

It is looking that way! The noose is tightening everywhere. The battle is not yet lost, and even if so the Soviet Union has a long way to go before they can reach Berlin!

RE: (FINALE) AAR - Fall Weiss II - BPINisBACK vs crispy131313
Spring 1944
Western Europe
From south-east of Paris, Germany launches a counter offensive against the U.S. Army that has re-grouped over the winter months at the western gates of the occupied French capital. A brave German infantry division was able to attack the American HQ stationed closest to Paris reducing its strength from 10 to 7 potentially reducing American supply along their front lines as German Tanks and Mechanized Infantry reinforced the German Infantry Army holding the capital.
Partisans have been a pain in occupied Vichy France. German and Italian Mountain Infantry have thus far been able to maintain order, and the ground figthing has not yet spread to this region of France. Bordeaux remains the only part of the western French coast under German control.
Eastern Front
Germany has reinfroced the Moscow Front and launched a fresh offensive against the Red Army which has been massing Tanks and Mechanized Infantry to braek out of the city's perimiter. The gates of Moscow has been by far the deadliest and most highly contested portion of the map.
A long lasting Soviet offensive has finally broken German defensive positions near Leningrad resulting in encirclement of and destruction of a portion of the local German ground forces. Germany has pulled back to stronger defensive positions behind river lines to withstand the coming assault.
In the South, the Romanian Army has been forced to retreat further towards Rostov as the Soviet offensive has been fierce and the Red Army breaks out of Caucasus region. The Red Army has two strong Army Groups attacking north-west towards Rostov and north-east towards Stalingrad. German and Hungarian forces have been deployed to hold back the Stalingrad offensive.
North Africa
Rommel and the Afrika Korps have been defeated in Libya. Greek reinforcements had been unable to turn the tide and the British have successfully cut off Axis retreat towards El Aghelia. Rommel's HQ is trapped within Benghazi will soon be destroyed as well as the remainder of Axis forces in the region - A Greek HQ, a Greek infantry corps, an Italian Army and the DAK Reconnaissance unit. The Axis still hold Tripoli and Tunisia and the Mediterranean is an Axis swimming pool guarded by ground forces, Aircraft and 20+ Axis naval units. The defeat of the DAK is only the first hurdle the British must overcome in the Med.
Finland
The Finnish government is on the verge of collapse as 80% of the country has been conquered by the Soviets. Mannherheim is pulling back from the Leningrad front, and Finnish defensive positions are collapsing everywhere.
Bulgaria
A small group of amphibous invading Soviet forces (2 Infantry Corps, 1 Mech Division) have tied up a few Axis units but are being pounded by German Tactical Bombers and without Soviet air support the invaders will soon be destroyed.
Norway
Norway is near completely liberated by British forces, a few garrison units remains, namely they hold Narvik which is denying supply shipments to Britain.
Axis Income
German income is locked around 950 MPP per turn despite continuous bombing efforts by the Allies. The Swedish and Norwegian convoys have run dry but we are still receiving ancillary income from Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Switzerland. Germany has moved some production underground and the War Economy has helped boost military production. Overall Axis income is about 60% of that of the Allies.
