Here's the supply situation in the Phillippines right now and it's not getting much better for all the troops in-country.
Planning ahead I can see how these guys are going to get tired, turn red and not combat worthy any longer so I'm
probably going to need to bring in some fresh troops and soon. To keep the advance going.

Here's what's going on in the Hong Kong area right now. We're still fighting over the railroad. I want it and he's got
it. We're negotiating seriously.

I was looking for something in the OOB and just now noticed that I have 770 units in play but a lot of them are the
throw-away units like those Civil Defense units in the home islands that can't move and you wouldn't want to shoot
with them the proficiency is so low. I'm thinking of disbanding those bad boys. Just to get them out of the inventory.

Here's what's going on at Henyang, China. We're fighting over the railroads still. I think maybe the Japs are
dominating though because I've got some Chinese units trapped up against the river and I'll eventually destroy
them. Supply is low so everything is in slow motion.

Here's what's going on at Singapore right now. We're still pushing and shoving and there's not much change and
not much movement and it's looking like it's a long term project.

I built a TF using the BB Yamamato as the base heavy guns and a bunch of CA's and drove over to Ft Drum and
defeated the Fort and then drove into Manila's harbor and now I'm doing airfield attacks to try to whittle
down the number of attacking aircraft to preserve my TF.

I lost one of my DD's moving the unit to Balikpapan. That's because Thomas has some British "T' missions running and
I drove into it's range arc without knowing it. At least I know it's at least as far as where I got hit. I need to
make a mental note of that distance and have a lot of fighters in the area to defend the ships and LCU's.

I thought I'd take a look at that unit and cross reference it with the Inventory to see how many DD's there are as
reinforcements left on hand and there's 4 total DD's left on hand. We're not making any and we don't plan to for
the rest of the war. And the same goes for the rest of the fleet. So I need to do a better job protecting the
ships.

Here's the results of a naval bombardment of an Allied airfield: All this by 1 x BB and about 5 x CA's.

Pearl Harbor is the forward base from the West Coast. Most US forces will pass through here on the way to future offensives.

New moves from Thomas; this is what the Phillippines looks like now. Almost all mopped up and the siege begins I guess.
I'm going to have to bring in some more bombers and pound this place a little bit more to soften it up a bit.

Here's the point of all the fighting in the Hanoi area: There's a dirt road that runs through the territory north of
the Hanoi area that will supply my forward troops and it would be the ideal place to put a front line so that the rails
along the coast are safe from adventures and drama.

This is the area north of Hong Kong and you can see we're still fighting over the railroads and the dirt trails. I've
got about 5 divisions that I need to move radically and not much time to do it. I'm looking around for some rail to
move them. Or I could move them to a port and move them by boat. Or I could just march them over there but that would
take at least three weeks game time. I'm not sure the Chinese are going to stand still that long for me to get there.

Here's how you test how far you can move via rail without paying a cost in rail cap. Pick a unit on the rail, that
hasn't moved yet and therefore can embark on the train and embark it. DON'T MOVE IT. As long as you don't move it
you can still disembark it again. So then trace your mouse cursor over the rails in the direction you'd like to go
and the AI will find the furtherest path there is for that unit. And then you can disembark the unit and carry on
with your moves.

A small war has broken out between the Chinese and the Japs over the roads and rails in the area to the west of Hong Kong.
Most of the supply in that area comes from Hong Kong so the road must be kept open to the front lines from there. I'm
having some people shipped in from the Home islands to help out somewhat.

The fighting near Manila has intensified and the Americans aren't going down easily. Losses are mounting and I'm going
to have to call a halt to the shooting for a while for rest and refit of the units. Supply is low on the east side of
Manila. So far so good.

I've got most of the important carriers ( CV's ) parked at an undisclosed location code named Home Plate. And
American pastime for a code name. It worked in rehersal. They all have rested planes and are ready for action; all
they need is a target.

Here's Singapore now. All the Allied stuff is squeezed into the tip end of the peninsula. Some bomber and naval
bombardment might shorten the seige time a little.
