I raised a ticket with Matrix, this was the reply. QA, um maybe...
Hi Tyrone,

Thank you for contacting us. I'm sorry the build is going through our internal processes right now to ensure it passes our QA.

I sent a new, new, NEW, NEW version to them last night. I was up till 2am working on this. Luckily I also had to catch up on my Crisis on Infinite Earths show. Those CW shows are cheesy but I can't stop watching them. And I have never been into comics.

Hi guys,

We have a pipeline for taking on new builds, this is to ensure that patches are solid and good when they release. As you are all aware, we have a fair number of games in our catalog and we like to keep all games up to date with patches and updates. This means however, that sometimes it takes a little longer than we would like. It helps us however, to make sure that each and every patch is tested and scrutinized, as well as digitally signed, before it goes out to you guys, the players. We hope you can understand your position.

Thank you Alvaro! and thank god matrix is doing a week of QA testing on your build to make sure it is digitally signed and ready for export from matrix studios to the FTP server.

There are always bugs. It takes a lot longer to get an app completely bug free. Look as MS Windows 10... 4 years and counting!

If I could I would update weekly. It isn't a big deal for me. Sadly I had thanks giving and family over and couldn't get the 2 week update out.

Don't ever be sad about having family over for Thanksgiving.

I didn't mean it that way. I meant sadly I didn't have time to get the update out on time that week.

Does anyone have a clue as to when the patch will finally be released?

I know one thing. Never again will I hold up the start of a new game while waiting for a patch to be released by matrix.

All of this QA excuse is BS. So far every patch has had introduced bugs. So their QA is pretty lame.

I too held off a game waiting for this patch. I used the time to make a new unit mod. So I still had fun...

MS gives up squashing bugs and renames the release MS Windows 11 …… Then the wack a mole starts all over again ….

Matrix, I get that you are busy and have QA procedures and all of that, but for the love of God, get this patch out already, or I will murder you.

I'd quite appreciate the path out by Friday, as usually weekend is when there is the most free time (starting Friday evening), and I've some PBEM games to start afresh in standby due to the patch looming ahead!

It's almost like a deliberate act of sabotage.
