My own take is that the Germans, particularly the panzer units, are oversupplied at the start. For instance, Das Reich has been involved in 1 deliberate and 5 hasty attacks, yet is still at 159% supply, 79% fuel, and 78% ammo. Meanwhile, the Soviet units it faced off against are all low on supply based on the soft factor display. By the time the Germans hit the Berezina they should not just be low on fuel, they should be low on supply and ammo as well. Instead, I find the Soviets are the ones suffering from supply while the Germans have plenty.

8 turn

So timely mud saves Sebastopol.

I think this will be the one and only time fortunate weather came the Russian way.

Germans had maybe 1 break where they got snow over blizzard.

If i recall.

final Moscow.

So, how is one supposed to build a defense line when all one does is retreat and retreat.

The skill of building forts around Moscow takes some attention. Maybe it should be the top paramount thought the moment the game begins.

All out effort with confusion/ deception everywhere else
