RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
If you got the advantage at least take Moulmein and Pegu to make it easier for later , Allies can bring reinforcements over the mountains or could buy 4 Chinese corps with PP and bring them to burma which would make life pretty difficult
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
ya with unit coming up from Singapore unit will march on those two base's while also marching to cut off the Burma road
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
26th-30th January
Not to much has happened so here's a quick detail Units are gathering Rubal for the invasion of Northern Australia so far 2 div's are in transports with some support unit's and 1 div and a brigade in Port Morsbeys resting waiting for the MKB to arrive in the area once that happens the invasion will happen.
Kendari was invaded with Moulmein taken and the march for Rangoon starting now. Java invasion force will launch soon the last unit's are arriving on Transports and are about to launch in a few day's here. other wise tomorrow I'll do a state of the Empire for the month of January to see what I gained and how the war is changed forever

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
31-1st nothing much happened again a lot of units moving into area Java should be invaded within the next day or two MKB just refueled at Truk and will head for Port Morsbeys where 3 div's plus Numerous amount of smaller units and support unit's wait for the invasion of Townsville area so far in the hex recon claims 5 units that told to 17k troops so at least one div is there so maybe the 18th not to sure we will see within the next week or so Manilla should also fall within the next few days forts are reduced to zero by now and the northern china pocket should be sealed up tomorrow claiming around 200k men in my next post will be the state of the empire after another month of war and what we can expect for this month to come.
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
Another month has past and with that the Empire grow's.
Conquests
Port Moresby, Rabaul, Noumea, Luganville, Efate, Singapore, Medan, Tarakan. Balipapan, Manado, and Kendari with lots of over smaller bases across the board.
This month's Conquests
So Townsville is my next major goal in the conquest of Aussie once the landing happen there and hopefully reinforcement's are moved there the invasion of Perth and Darwin will happen when he least expects it Darwin and Perth will be late Febuary early march hopefully.
But before Darwin, and Perth Java need's to be conquered along with Timor and Ceram these three islands are conquered it will open a path for Darwin and Perth to which the conquest of all of Aussie can begin.
Allied ship losses
this month was even bloodier then last month with the losses of
2 CV's Lexington and Enterprise,
2 CA's,
2 CL's,
11 DD's,
9 xAPs of small sizes,
12 cargo ships,
5 tankers,
2 SS,
6 Auxs,
to many Mines,
to Many Pats and that's about it some of them are confirmed sunk while other's aren't just intel and many other ships might of sunk but I don't know of.
Japanese Ship losses
2 Carrier's Kaga, Hiryu
2 CA's Tone and Chikuma
3 DD's
5 xAP's
19 AK's
1 TK
2 Mine's
2 Pat's
With the lose of 2 carrier's this early it hurt but trading evenly doesn't mean much better either way it's of great benefit for America to trade evenly but hopefully this will lure my opponent into over stretching with his remaining carrier's allowing me to sink them and run rampant
Air losses for both sides
with another bloody month gone the air war was bloodier with 2 carrier's lost between the both of us losing about 100 to 200 aircraft a piece it brought us up to 943 for the allies and 927 for the Japanese with 152 MIA, 85 WIA, and 379 KIA from last month were we had 91 MIA 41 WIA, and 201 KIA not as bad but still I lost a lot of good pilots fighting the American carrier's this early to get those type of pilots again will take me months to train and gain combat experience.
One last thing KB will either head toward Pago Pago to raid some shipping over there or to New Zealand and raid shipping there while MKB support landing in Australia.

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
Early war American damage control isn't all that good and Sara has a long way to go if heading to Cape Town via Perth. Anyways even if it makes it it will be out of the war for several months in shipyards Perth, pumping out flood damage then on to Cape Town and then the east coast where the yards are huge and empty.
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
February, 2-11th
its bin a few day's sorry for lack of updates bin busy and just not feeling updating the AAR but I thought to give an in-depth update on the curtain situation
South Pacific
Lots of updates down here KB tried to hit some shipping near Fiji and encountered heavy cap losing lots of planes and pilots after realizing that its heavily defended I decided to head down towards NZ but before this a small heavy cruiser task force went into the port finding a combat taskforce sinking a DM and CL for no casualties of mine. this bring me to today where KB has bin near NZ for two days now wrecking havoc on shipping hitting a tanker convoy already unload but sinking more tankers is always nice as since he's lost around 25+ tankers which would mean about 1/4 of his starting tankers are at the bottom of the sea. A DD taskforce tried to engage me surface taskforce to find that several taskforces were guarding my CV netting around 2-3 DD losses for him.
As my landing forces gathered PBYs found 21st divs transports sinking 2 cargo ships losing about 500 to 700 men other wise then that it MKB protected the rest of the landing with 9th the landings of Australia began were 3 divisions with Nemours support units swarmed the beach's of Rockhampton and a Naval guard landed at Bundaberg. so far around 54k troops have landed into Australia 144th Rgt and Guards mixed brigade have yet to land which should bring the total troop number to 60k plus all 3 of my divs will march on Townsville to secure the port and get rid of the resistance in the north while my Brigade and rgt will protect Rockhampton so far my only port and airbase I've secured in the region.
Right now 2 tank regiments 1 infantry regiment with several AT units and heavy guns were bought out of Manchukuo/Korea and are on there way to Australia they should arrive middle to late next month. Now the rest of 55th div will make for Australia to recombine with 144th bringing the total divs to 4 in western Australia.
Philippines
Manila was finally conquered for the empire at a high cost tho 99 % of the industry was sacked along with the resources which is bad and good less supply generation but now I can drive more of Philippines resources to the home islands which is nice I guess but with Manila Conquered 2 Tank Rgt and the 20th div will now load up on transports and prepare for the invasion of Perth MKB and KB will support these invasion once Java is conquered.
SRA
the last major enemy bases are falling in the region Java is on its last leg's leaving Ceram and Timor the last major bases within the SRA these base will be invaded quickly 20th div will land on Timor to take Koepang and give me a airbase in the region to recon Darwin defensives and give me an idea if he reinforced it or not.
South Java should fall soon Troops are marching to Soerabaja to grab the last major oil facility in the region so far only 5 units are reported in Soerabaja with 13 units in Batavia he's also defending in the mountains as well so taking the rest of java will have to be work for regiments and one div while the rest move on to Darwin and Perth.
hopefully in a couple day's I'll have a detail report of what troops will land where in the invasion of Perth and Darwin I will try to land at Perth first tho since it's the farthest away and might catch me some more cargo ships unloading in the area.

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
If I was him, and I am the Allies in April 42, so I am him, I would allow anything north of Brisbane to be a delaying action against your invading forces and defend Perth as the western end of the supply line coming from Cape Town. So use recon subs to figure out what you will be facing in Perth before attempting a blind landing and get ambushed. You will be a long way from any decent shipyards if you run into trouble around Perth. I assume you will be bringing the Mini-KB as the KB is tied up in South Pac operations right now between Fiji and the east coast of OZ. You might want to capture something along the north coast of OZ first and use it as a base for recon of your future objectives in the area and use as a base of resupply and temporary repairs for any damaged vessels.
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
actually right now KB is being freed up as MKB just arrived in the area KB will support the landing in Darwin/PerthORIGINAL: Bif1961

MKB was supporting the landings on Australia while KB did a deep raid into New Zealand KB will refuel and rearm this turn and go around New Guinea to SRA then I'll see what Perth looks like from there I'll do a more detail report on my plans in an upcoming post
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
or heres a meme I could go near Melbourne way and raid with the KB on there way to SRA sink ships coming in from cape town and then Heading to Java to refuel and rearm and possibly recon Perth and other bases while I'm there?
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
February 12th-15th
I'll be doing a post for each front today to give you guys update on the war everywhere so you know my situation.
South Pacific
So far the Australian landings have met no resistance on the 13th 60 bomber's of the IJN bombed the city of Brisbane causing around 10,0000 fires netting me another 24 more Allied Strategic losses with but it didn't go without a caust losing around 15 to 20 bombers in the process since some cap went up and broke through my screen.
on the 13th after this my bomber's stopped and sweeps were spouse to happen but nothing did weather was just cloudy that day so not to sure what happened.
same order's went in on the 14th as well but weather was bad with thunderstorms over Brisbane.
now onto the 15th orders so far here's the plane counts of each base in the South Pacific
Truk 36 fighter's, 13 bomber's
Rabaul has some Transports with Transport planes on them waiting for some aviation to unload them at any base. and then another transport on its way with another 78 planes these are nate's but once pools allow they will be upgraded.
Port Moresby 30 fighter's, 17 bomber's, and 6 Recon
Rockhampton 82 fighter's, 52 bombers, 15 recon
Noumea 27 bomber's, 9 recon, 12 Patrol planes
More fighter will arrive to Noumea soon just this is KB refueling base so as of right now they don't need the fighter cover.
with that out of the way today will order will insists of trying to bomb the port of Brisbane recon show's several tanker and xAP there's I highly doudt it but sinking any ship is great since it one less I'll have to deal with come 43 44 after that the bombing of the city will continue I plan to bombard the city as well as reports show 15 fighters and 70 bombers in the port once MKB get into position the bombarding party will launch from Rockhampton then refuel at Noumea.
First fuel from south Borneo has just arrived in Truk but what is more important is that the components are less then a week away from Rabaul were they will refuel then head for Rockhampton were they plan to meet there other componet and drive my number to 4 divs in east Australia.

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
SRA
to start off these past few days Soerabaja was captured with out a single industry point damaged except the shipyard from previous bombings unit's dutch forces on the south of the island gathered at Malang units from the north and south of this base are marching on it to crash the rements down here and free up force's to finish off the north. Minesweeper are about to enter Sorabaja next turn to remove the mines sitting in the base to open up the port.
Invasion of Ambon will happen within the next few days then Koepang not long after that.
Burma
Unit's are moving up the roads from Bangkok to Moulmein the siege of Rangoon should begin next month sometime I would say
China
So far the encirclement in the north is finding hard resistance but with the spawning of several Rgt and brigades in china lots of more force's have bin sent to the area which will hopefully pocket to keep these corps out of his hand's.

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
15th-21st February
on all fronts not to much happening units are moving into Burma and trying to cut off the Burma road more and more transports carrying unit's are heading for Rockhampton 2 divs are on there way to Java these units are for the invasion of Perth KB just refuled at Rabaul and is making it's way to Java as we speak so the timeline for the invasion of Perth should be set in stone but the invasion of Darwin might be halted for a little longer as I'm waiting for unit's from Java to become available.
With the new units arriving into Rockhampton this should drive my number's to 4 divisions 1 brigade 1 regiment 3 tank regiment's 3 paratroop units then lots of support units and a couple naval guard unit's. then the landing's of Perth should consist of 3 div's
3 tank regiment's I could land 4 but I want the fourth as a strategic reserve and possibly to use for the invasion of Darwin but with that the total number of troops in Australia by the end of march should be 7-9 div's, 6 tank Rgt, 3 Paratroop Rgt, 1 Brigade, 1 Rgt, and lots of other smaller unit's

the unit's I have from the Burma campain can be used for a may invasion of Ceylon possibly? once KB and MKB are not needed in the Australian region I can set my eye's on the Aleutians possibly and Ceylon
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
February 22-23rd
South Pacific
as always unit's are moving in this sector to the front line the rest of 55th div just arrived at Rockhampton and should be able to recombine tomorrow. with the threat of allied units trying to recapture Rockhampton 55th div will stay in the hex to shore up the Nemours support unit's in the hex. All together in Australia around 70k Japanese troop have landed on the shores with around another 20k arriving within the next few weeks
the invasion of Perth should happen in the first week or two of March with KB at least 5 day away from Java.

SRA
The march for Batavia has began with a mass surrender of units in the south Batavia is the last major base to be captured in the Java. Koepang was also invaded when this base fall Darwin will well and truly be cut off from any help by sea and will make conquest much easier but I expect Darwin is lightly garrisoned with the situation that has bin developing on the east coast of Australia. Another tanker of mine was lost the other day carrying fuel to Truk so far only 2 tankers of the IJN have bin sunk but any more and my economy might start to collapse.
Burma
More units are a few day's away from marching to Pegu. 15th guard's Rgt has marched it self to Toungoo after the first attack reduces forts hopefully the second attack will bring the conquest of the base

China
from the looks of it the Nanyang pocket has bin sealed bagging 24 unit's are the equivalent of 150k to 200k men this should hopefully weaken the Chinese forces in the area making my opponent divert troops to defend the north more unit's will slowly trick down to Hankow/Wuchang for where my main offensive should be here in the upcoming month's.

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
February 23rd-27th
It come closer to the end of the month and the empire has achieved a lot this month as well Australian invasion is in full swing with more invasions to fall there's still 2 day's left for this month and I'm hoping for one more major base to fall before I get ahead of myself.
Australia Front
Bombing's of Townsville commenced once again after recon for several day's show 50 plus bomber's and 20 plus aux in the hex after two day's of bombing I meant to put down the flight's but forgot and a allied cap came up and shot down several bomber's. Another bombardment went for Brisbane causing minor damage the ship's retired to Rockhampton were now 6 AKE's sit in the port. tommrow I'm going to bombard Bowen to damage his force's there so far the allies have:
14th Australian Brigade, 2/11th Armored Car Regiment, 3rg Motor Brigade, 6th Australian Brigade, 2/5th armoured brigade, 18th Britsh Div, 1 Australian Corp and the base force versus the 4th Div and the 38th div right now number's are even but on the 28th or the 29th the 3rd ind.HVY.ART.BN with the 10th Mtn gun Rgt should enter the hex giving me more Gun's then him and putting me slightly in favor.
My opponent seems determined to hold onto Bowen so I'll let him 1st Tank Rgt will try and cut off the rail while the 21st div will move in to the surrounding hex's cutting off his unit's if this work's the equivalent of 2 div's will be destroyed this will be a nice since the 18th Div is one of the best allied divisions at the start of the game to lose this will be devastating for the defensive of Australia. the Invasion of Perth should start soon after some looking I've realized I need a transit base for fighter's/Bomber's from Java to Perth so Broome will be invaded as well around the same time Perth is.
not to much will be put into this invasion possibly a two naval guard's unit's at most 1 at the least plus an air HQ will go there this will div me recon on a base to have bomber's recon Perth to see it's defenses.
Next the Invasion of Perth will consist of a minimal of 4 div's. 2 of them will land on Busselton while another 2 land's on Port Augusta to cut Australia into 4 sector's.
so 1's are the most important sector's the one's that need to be conquered to open up port's for the conquest of the rest of Australia 2 and 3 i'm not to sure what to focus on first probably 3 first since it could become a thorn in my side as supplies try's to get down to Perth.

Not to much other here KB is 2-3 day's from Java unit's are marching on the coast for Batavia and that's about it.
Other front's
Unit's are still moving in Burma.
China the Chinese unit's left Nanyang letting me capture it today but from what I know these unit's are still trapped in the pocket I've formed standing at around 90k troops with this around 25 percent of unit's will leave for Hankow while the rest march on Sian and to try and take the oil facility in this base.

Febuary 28th- March 2nd
It's the start of a new month and many more front's will open soon hopefully [:)]
Australian Front
not much happening unit's are still moving for the encirclement of Bowen a BB task force bombarded Bowen for minimal success.
Bundaberg seems to have lots of unit's there so far 5 units or 10k troops are at the base he might try to march on Rockhampton soon but sadly for him the 90th infantry Rgt, 9th Tank Rgt, and the 3rd Tank Rgt, with some art and another Eng landed in the hex. Tomorrow a couple Naval Guard unit's with more aviation unit's along with the mixed brigade and parachute Rgt will unload bringing my total troop count in Aussie to 100k I would say 30 to 40k are ENG unit's with the rest being combat worthy.
But of some note my opponent has not tried to send combat ships against Rockhampton from what I can tell no recon of the base is going on no naval search sins it looks like none of my taskforce's are being spotted what is my opponent doing sending in DD's or Cruiser taskforce's to wreck havoc amongst my shipping has not happened yet some bombing with planes has happened at night but for little effect. Is he worried about losing combat ships cause with no Pearl sending in 4 or 5 old BB's into the hex to sink ships would not be a terrible idea but my opponent seems content on letting me stream more and more reinforcement's into the hex with little retaliation one finale note on this the recon and naval search i'm pretty sure it has bin like this since the invasion started.
Broome invasion force is a couple day's away so far only one SNLF unit is committed to taking the base aviation unit's will be moved in after it's conquered but a Rgt at Koepang can be moved in if the base proofs to be a tough nut to crack.

Ambon still holds on should fall within the next few day's. KB is one hex outside of Soerabaja they will refuel and continue on there way to Perth Glen's report mutiplie taskforce's in the hex consisting of a wide variety of combat ships transports and cargo ships this seems like a perfect time for KB to pay a visit and hopefully sink lots of ships in the area.
Perth invasion
Soerabaja is my staging area for this invasion multiplie ships and taskforce's are already in the hex waiting for the well anticipated arrival of KB. 14 sub's are either on there way to Perth or in the vicinity of Perth trying to catch any stray shipping entering or leaving the base Sub's will make sure no secret taskforce's are in the area that will concern the viability of this invasion but to guard the invasion I have
KB that consists of
3 CV's, 1 CVL' 2 BB's, 2 CA's, 2 CL's, 11 DD's these ships are specifically for guarding my carrier's after the lose of 2 carrier's I can't suffer any more carrier losses until at least mid 43 were American supremacy kicks in. Guarding my transport taskforce's are 4 BB's, 4 CA's, 5 CL's, 1 CS, and 38 DD's its such large number's since the initial invasion will consist of 4 divisions, 2 ART, 1 SNLF, 1 Tank Rgt, with several ENG's 2 div's will invade Busslten while the other div's with the 2 art and SNLF invade Port Augusta holding this port will be of utmost importance if he can't send reinforcement to Perth or without having to walk all the way there this will be vital for the quick conquest of Perth and splitting my opponent force's in 4 different front/sector's for elimination. But from the little retaliation my opponent showed at my initial invasion of Aussie I expect he will try to throw everything to get rid of the harasse or destroy the Port Augusta and Perth invasion force's that's why this invasion force is so well protected.
Tommrow I'll do a state of the empire for the third month of the war.

RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
Since Perth is a major supply point from Cape Town odds are good that you will find supplies and fuel, hopefully enough to bolster whatever your brought with you.
RE: Deaniks (J) vs Runnersan (A)
Right now I plan on hauling 40k supplies in one cargo taskforce and 30k fuel in another plus what my troops bring
