I tried to relay a few good arguments in between the very painfull flameposts of me and others and made an attempt at humor, but obviously this was not appreciated by everyone. So, for all that I may have offended:

PLEASE EXCUSE ME

I really hate to see someone go, apparently claiming ME as the prime reason for leaving. I was merely defending a friend's creativity, having some fun & giggles and stating a few good arguments on accuracy. This is my only defense. If this is wrong, again I am truly sorry.

Cyr.

Cyr,
Its not you..its the truth and it IS time for David to grow up or go. Thats it. ;)

And C! dont ever drive a Kat! I would hate to kill you!

Well, Jess, to be honest.. I do OWN a few cats.. but I would never drive one.. even my tomcat is way too small. ;)

Anyway, I'm trying very hard here not to get into the Katz - M4 discussion LOL :D. We Dutchies are neutral remember? Or at least we try to :)..
But seriously, I'm trying to practice with every nation in the game to gain some experience. Today I even started a campaign as the Japanese!

Anyway, you wouldn't hit a man with glasses, right? :p

Hows about we get back on topic again? :)

To David Boutwell and Cyricist

Post by Wild Bill »

Cyricist, since you live in Holland I'd be very interest in the possbility of some WW2 maps of the Eindhoven, Arnhem and Njimegen areas. Do you have any? Can you e-mail them to me.

David, would you send me the maps you have done on these areas...or anyone who has them.

We might have a use for them if you would allow it, full credit to you, of course, for the maps used.

I need answers ASAP, please....Wild Bill

I sent you a private reply but it won't go through. Says your mailbox is full. It ain't that secret so here it is...

=============
Yes I can, my friend. Please send them if possible.

What I really need most is the area of the 101st in and around Eindhoven, Vegel, Best, Son and those areas. Now if I could get those...well, we might have a nice surprise...WB

I sent you a PM as well.. (haven't noticed it?) BTW my box is empty now. Just dumped all my old PMs received. I already have a few maps of the Nijmegen area. Will try to get hold of other maps as well (as quick as I can).

Thanks Cyricist. I'll be waiting for them.

And thanks Tracer, I'll go back and take a look at them. Of course, I would not want to use them without David's permission.

I've written him personally to see what his thinking is...WB
