Some ideas.. which would be really great when possible with your mod

Snow - is it possible with the new map?

Not only possible, it is from stock one, but it is an AIR weather, anyway I prefer the current real snow from stock for land weather ...even if it is sometimes harder to see

ORIGINAL: briklebritt
Urban and city images much more clear and bigger

I am using EXACTLY those cities you pictured (from Jison) but yes, I think I know what you mean, I will try to make then more contrasted in a future release
ORIGINAL: briklebritt
Text glow - outline through the editor did not allow such effects, sadly

Editor allows for a outline, not glow (to my knowledge extent)

Water color gradient

I love that sea too, and it CAN be done ..only it needs real loads of time [8|]

@vilcum
Thanks for your answers. It´s great to see that someone is trying to make such a nice looking map for us.
Jisons map mod gave us a really perfect looking map with WitE. Your mod get´s better and better and it would be outstanding if you can it improve futher - for me, I would like to have a mod which is looking like Jisons map with the new typ of map. BTW thanks again for your hard work, I will not play without your mod again.

Thanks from me, too, as the game is significantly more enjoyable with a nice map.

Added to the first poso three new files

- modified edifications (towns, cityes urban and heavy urban tiles) greater contrast and some minor amendments (thanks briklebritt for pointing at them.. I fel there are yet modifications to be done)

Fonts and MAPTEXT USE WITH CAUTION . I really advice doing your own combination, but add this ones for completion

fonts change the font and size on ALL YOUR GAMES.
Maptext does only apply to new matches created after its instalation

These look great! However, the first links (the ones other than the fonts) give me a "server not found" error. Could you re-upload?

Can I download the Rainmap-core without having to install or use Dropbox?

Thanks.

The only Google i have on my PC is Google Earth & YouTube. I'm using IE, Bing, And Microsoft Edge. Is this download compatible with my Edge file extractor? I don't see the point of downloading other browsers un-zipping tools, if i can help it.

Thanks.

It can be downloaded from any navigator (edge works fine). Then any extractor will do the work, as the file is a common ZIP

Really good work! Thanks a lot for it!

I have a question concerning clear tiles: there are some slightly different colors like more yellos'ish ones, does it have any meaning or it is just art?

No special meaning, they are just to give some life to the infinite russian steppes , the difference is there too on the original map , even if less noticeable (clear tiles are directly modified from the original ones).

Thanks for the answer. As I've said, excellent work, really beautiful and much more readable map.

After using the mod in a bunch of games I realised SNOW and HEAVY SNOW being too similar so I added quite more snow to clear and coast (and reparired some mistakes), the files are added to the DRIVE file on first post.
