RE: Sveint (Axis) vs HB (Allies) No Sveint for now
Then the invasion and paradrop near Benghazi, where the defending Italian Infantry corps is surprisingly destroyed. The other surprising thing is that my Armour only used up 30 landing Ships rather than the 60 it should have. So now in addition to remembering to not use my last 15 British Shipyards, I also have to remember not to use my last 30 landing Ships.

5 MS sunk along with 1 U-Boat hit.
The British tighten the noose in Libya. But why is this attack at 4:1? I only have 22 strength to 8. At best it should only be a 3:1.

In Russia I receive 8 new armies; 5 that I built on the first turn of Barbarossa and 3 reserve armies. So the order comes form STAVKA that there will be no more retreats. I will have to see how this works out.

Naval bombardment...
It is very overpowering in my eyes...
I had one attack go from 3 to 1 to 7 to 1...

I can understand the after combat odds being 4:1, but I didn't think the program included the shore bombardment in calculating the before combat odds. But maybe you are right.

In the Centre the Germans drive straight for Moscow. But Stavka's orders stand and I only retreat where necessary.

SEPTEMBER 12, 1941
DISASTER. The only screenshot worth posting. This is what happens if the Russians try to hold against a good Axis player
I have offered Sveint to concede my game as Allies if he concedes his game as Allies, or we can play them both to their inevitable conclusions.

Sveint and I have agreed to concede our respective games as Allies; so this game is over.
Final Forces and Casualties. Looks pretty good for the Allies actually, until you consider that there is about 500 Russian Force Strength that is isolated. This doesn't even include the additional units that will be destroyed if I don't runaway now with everything I have left.

POST GAME ANALYSIS
Firstly, let me congratulate Sveint on a game well played. This is my first loss as the Allies and the fact that Sveint was able to beat me despite all of his rotten luck is a testament to how good a player he is.
I actually thought I was playing a pretty good game that was helped by all the bad weather. The British were doing well in both the BOA and North Africa. I conquered Persia to ensure Russia got the 5 production per turn and I was sending maximum lend lease. I am not sure what I could have done differently with the UK to help Russia more. The only possibility would have been to invade France instead of Libya. But scraping as much as I could I only had 110 Landing Ships with another 40 available in September. This is only enough to land about 4 infantry corps and a para in the first wave. I could have captured a port or two, but the Axis could have railed in enough units to contain me without putting much of a dent in his Barbarossa forces. My plan was to try and force him to send some German help to Italy in North Africa and then also invade Norway to deny him the iron resources during the Winter. Of course, we never got to the Winter.
Until the last two turns I also thought I was doing well with Russia. The only units I had lost were corps. All of my armour, mechanized, mountain and armies were still available. IMHO, my only mistake was trying to use them to hold Moscow. I should have just continued retreating and let him have the City. But if the Russians can't hold Moscow in the conditions of this game, then can they ever hold Moscow in a game against a good player? Personally I don't think so. I also don't think I would have won the game if I had retreated. I would have had a slower death, but it would have been death just the same.
I welcome everyones comments or critiques.
