there are 2 IJN subs between Noumea and Efate. I intend on killing both of them.
AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 10/13/42
I am giving Gavigamana some study. I think a single Bde could take the place.
(Level 2 airfield at present) Then fast transport in a base force and SeaBee.
CD and AA. Transfer 1-2 fighter groups with 1 SBD and 1 TBF group (70 AC)
This would make it very difficult for Japanese supply groups to get into Luganville.
Once I have Gavigamana I send engineers and another Bde to Wunpuko. Build it and place
another 70 AC there. I'd have Luganville in a noose and these bases would help keep
the Japanese from reaching Luganville. I've sent AP's to Brisbane to fetch 2 Aussie Bde
(the 6th Div) I'll need enough ships to make 1 FT force large enough to carry entire Bde.
I'll have slower FT force stand by at Efate to carry Marine Raiders (and C-47 for Paras)
As reinforcements if needed. (Perhaps a combat eng unit as well)
All of these groups will need to be moved to Efate before sending Bde. If it can be done
it will help capture of Luganville.

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 11/03/42
OK part one done. Part two underway. Units/Supply/Fuel heading for Wunpuko
AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 11/04/42
I don't think Kurumba will make it into port. I think I will need to use a few
AK as troop transports in upcoming battle for Luganville. If there are 100k Japanese troops
there and I can place them out of supply before the battle I will need to move 50k
combat troops (and more support) So that means I will need to land 12.5 (make it 13) RCT
and Rgts to win. But only if Japanese are out of supply. If I land and Japanese have supply
to fight with I will be wiped out. 13 units, that is 4 Div plus 1 RCT/Rgt. Each RCT/Rgt requires
3xAP/AK to move=39 transports. I will also have a Fast Transport TF able to load and move
1 RCT/Rgt every 4 days. So as long as I am not wiped out on landing I will eventually
be able to move the required force to win the battle. Figure another 12 transports for the
support troops. I'll have a smaller fast transport TF that will move 1k supply to Luganville
every 3 days to keep the units fighting. (and I will unload 5k with troops on D-Day)
55 days remain to capture Luganville (more if less then 2x supply there)
AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 11/05/42
