Turn 30 - Minors

Jul/Aug 1944

Poland
Cruiser:
Dragon – Torpedoed by a German one man Neger craft off Normandy on 8 July 1944. She was a constructive loss and so used as a breakwater for one of the Mulberries. This ship, loaned by the Royal Navy, is placed in bold because, although there is no Polish counter for her, she does have an Royal Navy one.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Romania
Note: Romania does not have a named ship counter in MWIF but does have a generic destroyer flotilla counter. Romanian destroyers are thus not marked in bold.
Destroyer:
Marasti, Marasesti, Regele Ferdinand, Regina Maria – Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza) and employed by the Soviet navy.
Submarine:
Delfinul, Marsuinul, Requinul - Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza) and employed by the Soviet navy.
Midget Submarine:
CB1-CB-4 and CB-6 - Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza). Unlikely to have been employed by the Soviet navy.
Minelayer:
Amiral Murgescu - Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza) and employed by the Soviet navy.
Torpedo Boat:
Naluca - Sunk. Bombed by Soviet aircraft at Constanza 20 August 1944.
Sborul, Smeul - Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza) and employed by the Soviet navy.
Gunboat:
Stihi, Dumitrescu, Ghiculescu - Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza) and employed by the Soviet navy.
MTB:
Viforul, Vijelia - Sunk. Sunk by debris from a mined Hungarian vessel they were escorting on 9 November 1944.
Viscolul, Vedenia, Valcanul, Vantul, Vartejul - Captured by the Soviets (likely 29/30 August 1944 following the capture of Constanza) and employed by the Soviet navy.
