So, does anybody have it yet?

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Joining the general rush of people in Sweden with KP, my nice little packet from Duchet came yesterday. Once I got the minor issues out of the way (work), I have been playing solidly.

Thank you, Roger and colleagues, for a masterpiece. I am riveted.

See you all on PBEM VERY soon.

KP landed today in Milano Italy (from duchet...what a great fast and rapid service) I'm curious to see how changes (from the original TAO) works.
Soon I will ready for a testmatch.

Great Works SSG & Matrix

Fully worth the money, hours of harmless fun.

Just played 'Trapped on the Dneiper' as the Germans. Cheated thoroughly (fully loaded advantages to me, computer AI-), but was supripsed to whip the PC's a**. The only thing that did not happen was alert points.

Anyhow here's the victory screen dump:

Rats, can't do it. Anyway I won by about 7000 points, naturally the pocket was relieved, and Stemmermann was last seen attacking towards Cherkassy.

Ok I am going to play a more sensible game, now I can survive. Then I am on for PBEM...

BTW, yes there are a few minor bugs, but I am having so much fun I don't care!

Space§man,

great to see you are finally enjoying the game after all this time!

We must have a PBEM game when you are ready.

Cheers Chris

Anytime Chris, although might be a bit slow (going to Qatar for a week next week). How about when I get back, unless you want to start right now. SO far I am doing OK...

Cheers
