Turn 42 February 4th 1992

So we are here the War in Bosnia Has Begun! this what I was saving this page for

We have the VRS The Serbia Republic troops and JNA is here as well

So we have Three Armies that are about to clash they are

The VRS-Serb Republic

The HVO-Croatia Defense Council

The Bosniaks-The Muslims

The Muslims are in a terrible Spot Army wise but they do control a good amount of the country at this time so where planning a few Offensives I'm planning to Link up my VRS guys with Serbia so we can control the eastern side of the Country and wont allow the Muslims or HVO to cut me into Tiny Pockets

The HVO are in a better Spot Since they get guys and supplies from Croatia and we have house rules to Limit 5 guys from Serbia and Croatia that can come in

Since the war is just heating up we have Begun moving out of are areas and going be kicking off are First Offensive soon but first is a Link up Operation

So I was planning on taking Sarajevo not sure yet doesn't look like we will be able too since in real life the city was under Siege and im not going Siege cities in this game I want to take them by surrounding them but I'm sure again UN Troops will arrive and I wont be able to

Down south we are going Link up the remaining areas Up here too So we will have a full Frontline I almost forgot about the Muslim Held towns too the East but if i can Trap him there im sure he will have problems getting them out we will take Foca and Gorazde and will leave Visegrad (Im getting bad vibes from the Name)

Here in Banja Luka we have are Strongest Army dozens of Tanks dozens of Infantry and artillery we are Packing in heat so here the plan for this Army

1.One we are going to Push towards Central Bosnia Between the Mountain Pass and we will take Jajce and push towards Travnik before Muslims can form a defense Line or the HVO

im not really sure if HVO will show up or Muslims Will first but it doesn't seem like they fight very good together

2. Take the towns of Teslic and Maybe Doboj and reach the Bosnia River

If I can push Cross the river we could Link of with are Serb Forces in Serbia but it will be a long way before we could and I'm not positive we will pull it off but we are going to try

Up north this area will be a Pain in the Rear to deal with Historically this is where the the Muslims Held off the VRS from pushing for the whole war im sure it will happened to us too but we will try to crush this area

Are Planned Offensive as the following

1. Push Towards Prijedor and Link up with Bosanski Novi and then Push towards Bosanski Krupa and Relive the trapped troops holding the town of Cazin

We cant let the Muslims take are Pocket up there in the north it will leave them with deploying against us and I might need these troops for the other Fronts I do not want to get tied down fighting here

2. Push from are own Pocket and take the City of Drvar and Link up North or push down south not sure yet

So we are going take the city take his Muslim units out then we will see from there It might take a while since supply doesn't seem all that great here

3. A push North and take Sanski Most

Most Likey a Supporting attack for the Main Link up since I don't want him Shuffling troops around to meet my Offensive and I dont want that so

This is it then for are Offensive Ops im sure the war is going pop off next turn

Turn 44 February 11th 1992

So we moved around but Since most of are guys where in Reorganization we didn't advance ugh

thankfully we launched a attack at the city of Srebrenica and took it

I sent guys down towards Gorazde and see if i could snatch it real fast doesn't seem like I will, we had some HVO troops arrive but not in big numbers thankfully so far its going well

Looks like we stoled a HVO Tank or something

just like the war in Croatia we got the advantage here in Bosnia Intell at least late 1993 so lots of time for Offensives

Down in Herzegovina we are planning to start moving next turn after Reorg is finished I'm pushing up between Mountains and Hills then move along up too the River stop for a bit then take the Captial city in this Region or whatever it is I'm not sure don't know too much about the country I'm fighting in

Lots of JNA as Well as VRS Mech units so should be speedy once we get further up into the Grass area

we do some shelling to soften up the HVO before moving since this area is HVO Controlled so less muslims more bloody fighting

Turn 45 February 15th 1992

So we have moved out from Banja Luka and into the Central Bosnia his defense was starting to stiffen so we decided a flanking attack from the mountains need to keep up the pressure on his forces

we have Finished the battle for city of Teslic seems like he Pulled back his Units holding the town fine with me honestly no sense in fighting too the death to delay

We plan to keep pushing towards the River Bend hopefully we can reach it with more Muslims and HVO arriving its getting harder

Near Sarajevo we didn't move much we tried pushing up north but ran into a horde of Muslim units but there easily pushed aside we attempted another encirclement hopefully we can do it next turn

I could have done it this turn but I went into reorg like always

Up north near Srebrenica we stopped moving since Muslims arrived in force I think he wants to stop me moving in this area but I was not planning to move anyway since there's no supply past the area

I think Muslims are doing a flanking push so we need troops ASAP to that southern area otherwise it wont end well

so far its looking good for are pushing besides the Muslims finding a Gap

I honestly was respecting more stiffer resistance in this area but I'm not sure if all Muslims arrived yet or not but anyway we started attacks on Brcko and are planning to take the city in a week give or take maybe sooner

Down south I formed a longer line to hopefully draw his Muslims Thin I'm sure its going back fire But i needed to do something before he arrives in force I have started pushing in this area since the Terrian is not that Bad at all much better then a lot of places on the map

after we take Brcko I would like to do a Link up with Banja Luka Forces if Possible

This Whole country is Rockey doesn't make for very good Offensive Ops

Turn 46 February 18th 1992

We got a lot to unpack here lets start with Herzegovina

So we pushed up and met a line of HVO troops Dug in of course I try a flanking attack to get past his line but not sure if its going to go anywhere but we will see

Just a little too the North-East we met up with Muslims and we pushed them a little bit so overall its going well here but HVO troops again are not easy to pick on

we try a flanking attack on HVO lines maybe we can cut him off

soon are Link up will be Complete so I'm moving a guy north to Contact supplies

Here we Launch a big attack on Muslim and HVO Lines we have crazy amount of overwhelming Fire power here so we are pushing hard we will use JNA up like meat waves after all JNA is set to Disband this year so might use the heck out of them before they go away

So we try to flank from the Mountains but we where too slow so he pulled back (Yes I'm aware were pushing through mountains this is my first PBEM Game so bear with me im learning)

further south I do a flanking attack to try and cut the HVO guys off if we can starve him out of supplies we will be able to wipe his units out

I also started a push to wipe out the units in central Bosnia and take the town of Jajce

Up north we have Rescued are surrounded guys it has left a gap in his lines and he is in danger of being surrounded if he doesn't pull the Muslims back Sadly are units Cross the river wont make it but it tied his forces down that's all i hoped for the less I have to fight through the more time I get to move on too the river and set up defenses

I think its a super river not sure yet

Here in the Bosnia Krajina Area we will surround the guys holding this area and Emilite them

we took the town of Drvar last turn I do notice the towns I take in this game dont even have enough VPs oh well a town is a town i dont have to deal with when he gets units out of the Expected Reforcements Box

After this im planning a drive up north or just have them Rest I have not decide yet but with how thing are going up north I might just rest them

Wow are First big Encirclement of the War no Vukovar was a joke compared to this

We surrounded the Muslims in a pincer movement and went along the Bridge the town of Prijedor is encircled long with at least 6 Muslim units as well as a HQ yes Vuckovar had a lot of troops but they where worn down these Muslims are Fresh after all they just came in 2 turns ago so its time to eat them up before they can break out

we will try a flanking Maneuver again since well we have more troops then he dose so we can do that anyway we will cut his line and hopefully it effects his supplies I have no idea if cutting a bridge will hit the supplies or not maybe some can tell me so I didn't waste my time cutting a area off that wont do anything

Up north Muslims and HVO have launched a offensive this is unexpected but pretty obvious since we barley have any guys in the pocket holding just don't want to lose the town and be screwed to be taken out

you might wonder why I don't call them Secessionist anymore well they were not really "Working" together at this time most units had their own goals and government where not really working with eachother at this time anway intill much later
