RE: Operational Areas
ORIGINAL: Mike Carroll
Attached is a map showing the major operational areas for the Empire of Japan.
Aaahh

And how about the same map but with red and green unit dots showing? I'm curious to see the patterns of USN's activity.

A close-up of Midway please? Looks like quite a few TFs there...
And Dutch East Indies are in play? So USN can use those bases to refuel?

Sorry for the delay I was traveling for a couple of days.
The Dutch East Indies are currently not activated. In this scenario The Dutch, French and British Empire are still around but not actvie allied powers. They would only become active Allied powers if the Japanese attack them (for the British and French this includes a ground invasion at Shang Hai and Tientsin).
The Soviets do not become active powers until 1929. The Japanese can give back Okha-Sakalin and prevent them from being activated.
I know little of what is happening at Midway, but I suspect that elements of the Asiatic fleet are arriving there. I have not been very successful intercepting these forces. I have seen them pass my air recon network, but have not been able to intercept them with my combat task forces (with the exception of the Huron)

Imperial Navy Command has issued a recall to several submarines due to poor shooting. In the past 3 or 4 days Imperial subs have missed 6 or 7 shots and enemy shipping. This is unacceptable. The sub commanders will be replaced.

A better picture showing the overall picture of things. The Japanese Empire is outlined in the red dotted lines. Except I just realized I screwed up and missed Dutch Harbor Oh well.
