I can assure you Eire aka Ireland is fully represented ;)... typing as I look out a window on a nice river flowing through Dublin city itself.

Well small error they were created in the early 16th Century and i think their finest victory came in 1605 near Kircholm were Polish army consisting of 1400 infantry 2400 cavalery and few cannons faced Swedish army od 8,500 Infantry , 2500 cavalery and 11 Cannons at the end poles lost about 100 KIA and 200 WIA of wich only 13 were Winged Lancers called Hussars and the Swed's lost some 6,500 to 7000 men... The other great Victory of the Hussars came in 1683 when they Charged the Turks besieging Wienna Routing their army completly...

Did the Polish Winged Lancers exist at the time of Grunwald?

Nay, Polish Winged Lancers (Husaria, hussars) were first presumably "used" during Battle of Orsza 1514. However as the separate formation they were first used in late XVI century...

Yeach while we happily were killing each other the Russians grew stronger and stronger first they crushed Sweden in the "Northern War" and then Russians took part in the dividing of Poland as for Battle near Warsaw yep you won[:D] but you only achived 2 to 1 kill ratio when we chived something like 25 to 1 [:D] but that dose not matter any way you had luck that you escaped as you were surrunded there[:D] and your victory did not change nothing as Poles recaptured Warsaw and repled something that is called "Swedish Flood" in Poland...[:D][:D][:D]

Well now the people are not hitting one another with stick's and the menkind will not survive another World War

We still hit each other with sticks. High tech sticks, but we still thump our chests, too.

Nuclear annhilation is not the only way for society to collapse due to war. But that is a steakhouse discussion. I do not want to get this thread locked.

Eastern European history tends to get a little glossed over in the US public school system. (Not arrogance, just limited time and not everything can have the same time devoted to it.) With the attitudes I remarked on in post #128 of the "1.8 works Great!!!" thread, too many kids in the public school system just can't seem to care.

They are more focused on their social lives, I assume.
