Andrew,
I think your side art for the B-25C/D and B-25J are reversed. Have a look at the the graphics below (shamelessly reworked for my own use). Note position of gun turrets and waist guns.

You may be right, but I will leave final judgement to TheElf.

Ouch, just started CHS 2.03, historical difficulty against IJ AI (experimental version with Soviet ships). 2-day turns..and had nasty surprise when KB didn't withdraw after first PH attack... During second day they sunk CA Indianapolis and few other ships around..and then did another port attack, putting few more torpedoes into ships in port. I think BB Arizona now got 6 torp hits...argh.
Anyhow, nice! Is that because of 2-day turn or has the orders of KB tweaked some way ? (my bet is former..but thought to ask)
The KB does attack PH from a different location in CHS, compared to stock scenarios, but I don't know whether that makes any difference. Probably just a coincidence.

I am going through all the Allied units/bases one by one since this is my first time with CHS and extended maps to get a better understanding. I have gone through all Allied units/bases east of Midway and found:
United States has a Port and it's expandable (??)
Some bombers set for Naval Attack from around Denver (??)
LA Air Capacity is 10(6) - I thought it could only expand by a factor of 3, not 4
Portland Air Capacity is 7(3)
Portland BF has "Future Objective Set" at (53), but no objective named
Some of those US base numbers do look like they need a minor tweak or two. I will check them for 2.04.

During this start they sure got in lot better attacks than usual. Not too bad.

In CHS, the KB does hang around, but it won't hit Pearl a second day if you're careful--I just keep the TFs at sea away from it. Usually I have the two air TFs sprint over to Wake. The other things I do are send a bunch of cruisers to Rabaul to preserve it, pull the surface forces out of Singapore, extract the various base units in southern Burma, and figure out some way of holding Sabang as a cork in the bottle of the Malacca Straits. I try to force the Japanese to use the KB to make progress, figuring that I can grind it down over time.

The G4M2 got moved down a slot.
It belongs one slot up.
Nothing wrong with the B-25 placement since the B-26G was dropped for version 2.

I just started organizing my cargo transports at the start of the game and noticed that all of the bases attatched to the India Command have the shortcut button to their main port set to Auckland. Since Aden is the main supply port in the vicinity wouldn't it make it easier to change this?

RE: CHS Scenario update now available - version 2.03
That button depends on the nationality of the ships in the TF.
Not necessarily on where the TF is formed.

RE: CHS Scenario update now available - version 2.03
CHS changed the command slots around to make India Command a restricted command. I believe CHS used the New Zealand Command slot in order to do so. Thus all the return to main base buttons wind up as defaulting to Aukland because the buttons are tied to the slot and not where the command actually is.

That's correct. So the "Return to Auckland" button is a result of that change. I have thought about swapping Auckland with an Indian port to get around this, but Auckland is a default base for NZ reinforcements, so we might end up having NZ LCUs appearing in India if they are swapped. SO I have left it alone.

No big deal, I never use that button on the TF menu anyway.[;)]
RE: CHS Scenario update now available - version 2.03
Alright. I didn't realize it was a limitation of the game engine.

Hmm. I've noticed after installing your map version 6.1 and CHS 2B that Luganville in the New Hebrides now has an airfield SPS of 0(0). The map mod documents for verion 6.1 state it should be 1(3).
Is 0(0) correct?

Found 33rd and 31st Divisions at Shanghai. Both belong to the Burma Area Army. 33rd is marching to Raheng in Burma(1380 miles away). 31st is prepping for Shanghai and not marching anywhere.

The 33rd Div has always been that way in CHS. As for the 33rd, I think this is a fault, as according to Joe's notes the division should arrive in 1943, which is the case in the old CHS as well. I will have to get confirmation from Joe about the 31st.

Besides a few bases in the US mainland, I have identified Luganville, Efate and Davao as needing base size revision for 2.04.

As Andrew says below, the 33rd has been this way in CHS for sometime (since 1.02 anyway). The 33rd arrived (piecemeal) in Thailand via transport convoys (2 Regiments concentrated by 20 Jan 42 at what on the game map is roughly Raheng). The Japanese player would be advised to consider shipping the 33rd I.D. to its destination and perhaps we should "pre-cancel" the marching orders. They cannot be executed anyway, given the ownership of the inervening terrain.
As to the 31st, this division consists of the 58th I.R. of the 13th I.D. and the 138th I.R. of the 116th I.D. as cadres. Given the limitations of the game engine, we decided to bring the 31st in early but place it in "organizing status" (note that the division is 90% disrupted). This means that the 31st can probably repair itself up to the point where it can perform combat operations before the historical date of Mar 43, but given that it contains 2 regiments as cadre, this gives it some latent combat capability not normally present in 1 regiment cadre divisions. So allowing it to start on map gives some representation to the presence of these 2 regiments.
The 71st I.D. is the other case. The 71st starts on map even though it was not fully ready for deployment until April 42. It contains the 140 I.R. of the 110th I.D. as its cadre. It is also in "organizing" status at the start.

From the CHS 2.00 revision notes:
61. HMS Warspite now begins the scenario in Seattle, with a small amount of SYS damage. HMS Warspite was in Seattle finishing repairs at the start of the Pacific war, and later sailed to India via Australia in early 1942.
