Anyone knows this? There is a prize for the right answer...

You can only build forts in hexes you control. So Italian forts have to be build in Italian controlled hexes and German forts have to be build in German controlled hexes....

Damm. I looked under the forts rule and couldn't see anything and am pretty sure in one of my solitaire games had to ship a fort down to Singapore, so I thought they could be moved and then set up. Oh well, it was only 2 BP's. I dare say I can find a useful place for it and maybe a couple more.

Out of the scenario booklet:

AfA & MiF option 5: You can only set up forts in hexes you control...

Does that apply only to the forts available at set-up or subsequently built forts?

Both. Here's RAW, which confirms this:

Fortifications (...) can arrive in any hex controlled by their
major power that isn’t in an enemy ZOC and won’t violate stacking.

Thanks Peter.

Oh well, back to what I said earlier. "I dare say I can find somewhere useful for it and possibly a couple more."

China is a right mess. I want to get the Japanese units back to the coast and out but the weather and supply is hindering all movement, while the Chinese are exploiting the gaps. Any suggestions?

There is no solution for this. The only thing which might help is to get another HQ into China to help with the supply situation there. That is probably too much for the Japanese to be able to pull off.
The Chinese are also hampered by this weather, so they won't advance that fast too...

Only HQ I could bring is the one I just sent to Truk to give reorganisation options for the IJN. I think it'll be needed there in the not too distant future. Good point about the weather though.

I think Japan needs to go land due to China and Italy may as well go combined. How about Germany?

Germany takes land as they need to rail more units to east.

I hope we get naval air combat in BoB.

I will be online earliest on Sunday evening, but more likely on Monday. You can do naval combat. Send German planes to BoB.

Considered it as a back up but thought you would prefer it's ground-strike capabilities to be kept available. Might send it up for second round if Fw-190 gets aborted.

They don't reach box 2, I think they intercept now.

Was there Italian fighter in Bordeaux?

There was but I rebased it to southern Spain so you could keep the Hungarian one in the north. No problem to swap it back if you want.

Did you want to do any ground-strikes in the snow?

No thanks, I can't attack this impulse.

Italian plane is good in south.

I get online tonight for rail moves and land moves.

Should I rail PARA to Sicily, so that we can attack Malta next turn if thing look good. If we do that, can Italy rebase ATR and Stuka to Sicily this or next turn?

Will do it this turn. I've given up on taking Algeria. I want to get the TERR back to Tripoli and the INF back to mainland for garrison duties.

Should I keep MAR in Morocco to annoy Allies or take it back to Gibraltar to attack Malta? We get decent attack with PARA and couple of divisions and shore bombardment too.

I think it's too useful to leave in Morocco. Allies only need a good ground strike on it while it's OOS and it won't be very annoying for much longer.

If you send instructions for Japan I can start our impulse.

I think Germany and Italy are trying to empty CSV and BoB. All artillery fires and depending on naval combat maybe German bombers hit too.

Let's see if USSR is really retreating, or will they come back in J/F if they can break the pact. I will pile on units to eastern front. I even send MTN from Spain, I will send them back after Germany has attacked USSR.
