Jeff, congratulations on making it to '45. It made for fun reading. I enjoyed your creative ways of postponing the inevitable, like sending supply to far-flung ports a week back in order to boost your victory-point level. No doubt you'll benefit in future games from playing this late with such desperation and tenacity.

Thanks CR, glad you were along for the ride.

Only two pilots, both alive shockingly, over 20 confirmed kills.

Just popping in for now... I'm going to have to read this beast from the beginning.

I would like to thank Lowpe for an excellent and well fought match. Extra kudos for taking over what I assume was a awful situation in mid '42.

Lowpe, I wish you all the success in your future matches.

Great game. It's tough keeping your morale up as the allied steamroller become unstoppable.

It was an outstanding last stand that continued for months!

The morale thing depends on how you look at it. If you expect the Japanese to rally and win a great victory that will force the Allies to sue for peace - you are going to be greatly disappointed.

But if you start with the idea that Japan is going to lose and focus on what kind of fight you can put up to delay the inevitable, it becomes an intriguing challenge as Lowpe has so bravely demonstrated! His morale was held up by many small victories he achieved with MTBs and E escorts and even Nates!

Kudos Lowpe! You are a man with True Grit! [&o][&o][&o]
