More bombing of Soerabaja, airfield, port and ground units all hit
The Helldivers are dive bombing to 3000 feet and not getting much flak,
so I am going to send in 64 Attack bombers at 3000 feet to hit the ground units.

The Heavies flew again Truk last night. Here are the results, not sure I can sustain the losses.
I did sink an ACM, that might help lower the number of mines there. No support and they will
slowly disappear.

At least my bomber crews are producing aces

Not really the numbers I was looking for. I have 21 damaged P-47D25s and it will take 6 days before I can make up losses.

I noticed during the replay that my aircraft got very few diving messages, and I think there were more for the Tojos.
I need to come up with a way to engage his low flying fighters. Maybe I should come in at 12,000 feet. I would have a small
altitude advantage and maybe that will work out better.

I see I have not been keeping up on posting my CV/CVL/CVE assets

Right now I have

That is a good amount of mobile airfields. 1233 fast CV/CVLs and 346 for TF cover on Invasions

I did not include Hermes or Long Island

At this point with my fighter aircraft superiority I am reasonably confident I can at least come out with some
form of even trade in a CV-CV engagement, if not outright win the engagement. I can not seem to be able
to pin him down into an engagement.

But, the window of my superior fighters will end at the start of 1944 or so. He has accelerated the A7M2 Sam a good

That was an oops. I thought I had my B-25D1 attack bombers set for a range of 8 to correspond to the Beaufort VIII range, but
I guess I though wrong. I did not want them attacking TFs in Batavia, but that is what they did and died in large numbers.

16 B-25D1s lost ( 13 air-2-air and 3 flak ) along with a P-38G in air-2-air
and he only lost 2 Ki-44-IIc Tojos. Darn it anyway.
I realize that a few of that total were lost at Malang when they attacked
the LCUs there, so not all of them lost at Batavia, but enough to cause me heartache.

More bombing at Soerabaja, Shwebo, and Malang.

He is bombing my Chinese troops that are to the South of Katha in the Jungle. He is not doing much
damage, some disabled squads. Those units are just standing in the jungle to make sure he does
move into Kata.
I am not sure shy, but he split the 70th Division into ABC parts. I bombed A and C today.
Is he trying to save PPs or something?

Only good reasons to split a division near the front is to take upgraded devices more quickly, or recover disablements and fatigue.

About the B-25 range oops - I consider that sort of thing as FOW - Fatigue of War. So many things to check and settings to make or adjust wears down your brain - and mine is already pre-worn!
