How did Kikuzuki get away? Gojirra show up? Divine wind? Trick the captain picked up at Tsushima?

This is interesting. The larger taffy centered on San Francisco misses Kikuzuki , turns around to return to Exmouth, then runs into Ashigara which has missed the Arried transports at Port Hedrand, which have beat feet for Exmouth.

I think Ashigara was returning to Broom or Derby. Amazingly symmetrical forces. Looks like we won.

Afternoon raid on the ships at Boela. P-40B's from Boela are in the air. If I had known they would fly I would have sent another squadron. 4 Bettys shot down but one gets through and puts a fish in Indiana. Gaack. Tropedo hit like that on a BB usually means dry dock time.

By ra way, the number of digits of Pi which one has memorized is a very good predictor of geekdom.

I am pretty sure than any figure over 15 digits will guarantee virginity untill graduate school, at least.

Ahhh...so 6 of my 30 year old plus cousins have memorized Pi that far....makes perfect sense now.
Life is tough. The sooner you realize that, the easier it will be.

Well, if it makes you feel any better...if I was an AFB, I'd just pretend that it was the "Gary" part of the Indiana that was blown up and flooded. Pity the damage to the latrines and bilge systems though...

Wonder why he's sending in his torpedo bombers so high. There'd be more chance of penetrating CAP (and a lower detection time) if they came in lower.
