My wife has to work on Christmas Day, so we will be opening presents just after midnight on Christmas Eve.  

Since when do veterinarians work on Christmas Day?[X(]

She's working at two different emergency hospitals, so it's all weeknights, weekends, and holidays. [:(]

The good news is that, because of all of her hard work, on Christmas Eve, we will write the check to purchase our share of the vet practice in the Turks and Caicos! [8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]

So when you are 'vacationing' down there, she's actually working? [X(][:D]

9-12, 4 days/week, downstairs.  [:)]

Then, on call for emergencies, where the clients all know to expect someone slightly - mostly inebriated to help their pet.  [:)]

Having cured the rabid Phillipino poultry now it's off to the Turks and Caicos. His work will never end.
