F***!!!
Fart !!! ? Why fart? Btw, did you know that you can say fart at least 7 different ways in Japanese (probably many more, but 7 is all I know). Always wanted to sneak in an extra one of those ‘wind’ class DDs and name it “Foul Smelling Wind”, or “Bad Body Odor Breeze”, and see if anybody caught it … oh well.

Ok. Upgrades were substantially free in WiTP. This part of the code was not rewritten for AE. Conversions are treated just like upgrades, so in terms of “dollar cost” they are just like upgrades. Not really free, because there are time and distance constraints, but there is no impact on the production cost model. It would have taken another year, at least, to make that happen.

And, no, conversions/upgrades do not block shipyards. Just as they did not in WiTP.

Feel your pain (more than you know) and wish it could have been different, but we all have to play the hand we were dealt.

I've eaten something wrong. I don't really want to know what my neighbours think as I use to sleep with an open window - and you can't avoid hearing me [:D]

That's really bad, especially as it was possible... [:@]

How can I do this now? Let them convert at will but quadrupel the needed time to simulate a possible "only worked on them when nothing else to do"? But this would still mean that at the end of 43 or at the beginning of 44 there are dozends of new carriers... [&:]

Dude, 3 hours is nothing for a first turn, even as the Allies!

My first WitP campaign vs. AI took about 10 hours to set my Allied first turn.
My first WitP PBEM campaing took about 20 hours for the Allied first turn.
My current PBEM with Mynok, CHS as the Allies took me about 12 hours for the first turn.

I've done nothing with the AE campaign yet except let the historical first turn run and look around at the aftermath on the morning of December 8th.  [:)]

Same here . Still pondering. But for me this is half the fun.
