Where does it land? Axis continue the fight. Do the CW stay for another round?

Despite their initial surprise, the final result is a victory for the Allies.

Moving to Cape St. Vincent, the Italian subs raise their periscopes and find Allied convoys (searches Axis 4, Allies 8). The Italians use 2 points to reduce losses to NE. The remainder go to increase damage. Which CP's do the Allies wish to destroy and abort?

Destroy the Belgian CPs first and abort the CW convoy points first. They abort to Gibraltar. CW stay.

Both sides stay to fight but are unable to relocate each other (Axis 5, Allies 3).

Moving to Biscay, 1 of the 2 subs in the 1-box initiates combat. Do the Allies wish to fly air support? Vilderbeest and Blenheim can get to 2-box, others the 1-box.

The NAV2 flies to the 0-box.

Rolls of Axis 6 and Allies 10 result in no combat.

In the West Med, the Italian fighter initiates searching and both sides find each other (both rolled 3). Naval Air combat is chosen. Both ships are identical, so I pick CA Canberra for the first of 2A. CA Canberra survives some near misses. With the first A saved, I put the second A on the Australia as a save there would leave both ships on station. It gets aborted. Do the Allies wish to stay?

CW abort the sea area. Cruisers go to Gibraltar and the CP to Aden.

CP can't go to Aden due to FTC. Options are Gib, Cyprus, Malta, Bardia, Tobruk or UK ports but then needs to fight through the subs.

Malta then.

Edit: It amazes me that convoy ships are included in the FTC rule. [:)]

Okay gents, what is the plan for the rest of the impulse? Are the Axis looking to do this tonight or tomorrow?

A bit more tonight. Just doing the ground-strikes and I have instructions for rail moves, then that will be it until tomorrow as Mayhemizer will need to do his land moves.

Japanese artillery bombards Nationalist units in the mountains east of Sian. They shouldn't have bothered.

Germany rails MTN from Rouen and ARM from Paris to Krakow. GAR from Aachen to Denmark Frederikshavn.

Tokyo Mil rails to Gen Umezu.

Japan ends up not making any land moves. Italy adjusts positions of a couple of units on the French border.

Over to Mayhemizer for Germany's land moves.

Only one land combat. This must be assault, blitz would be automatic.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
