Germany has energy costs three times as high as the US...

Already 200 Billion subventions. The government forces the energy companies to buy energy from such sources to a price way higher than the actual market price. What they do with these costs - anyone can guess himself...

I think we are place 2 at the energy costs of all industry countries and first companies have gone bankrupt. But hey, we are abolishing nuclear power as Germany is known to be endangered by tsunamis...

Mostly his position is lying down (ba-da-bump!) at work. Since I work for a veterinary college, there is a regular policy of allowing one to bring animals with employees.

Do you get blamed when he "lets one rip"?
As everybody knows it is the chicken himself, everyone stays quiet. [:o]

Today's cultural lesson for our Braunschweiger friend: If you are in a group of guys and someone lets one rip, you do not maintain silence. Comments like, "It's not the smell, so much as the watering in my eyes" or "If you're sick, go to the hospital" or even a short, clearly enunciated, "Damn!" are mandatory.

No, if you fart, you have to look your neighbour deep in the eyes and loudly say: "How could you!"

Typically the highest cost / KwH of all possible energy sources.

We're very fortunate with the new findings in shale gas here. International costs for LNG or NG or about treble our own here.

Ah, yes, the shifting of blame or the plausible deniability approach. Another good one.

Personally, I dont see why nuclear power is maligned so much. But then again I'm no "nukelar" scientist.

shale gas was found here, too. But our treehuggers are about to achieve the total banning of the exploitation...
