Has any of my readers payed attention to the replacement rates of their Allied AC. I have seen several types of planes being shorted around 2 planes a month.

Other than that, some [witpqs??] have suggested that shutting off HI in Oz can affect aircraft production on the US WC. No one has yet done a specific test of that notion, though. I think the [inconclusive] discussion was in NY59Giants' AAR.

Thanks BBfanboy. I have an issue with that. Japs can make thousands of AC above what they could of done in real life and I get stuck with less. Oz HI is still on and producing. I'm pretty sure I have enough HI.

Also, I have a sub at a dot base with no fuel. I have tried an AO to drop off fuel with nav support, replenishment TF. Port is a 0 and can't be expanded. What can I do?

Also, I have a sub at a dot base with no fuel. I have tried an AO to drop off fuel with nav support, replenishment TF. Port is a 0 and can't be expanded. What can I do?
AFAIK there is nothing to be done for an out of fuel sub except sail it to the nearest friendly port, leave it as a static defence for the hex, or scuttle it. [:(]
Subs are pretty tough so unless it is really far from a friendly base, it should eventually make it there with some system damage. Be sure to change the sub's home base to the target fuelling base or it will try to divert to the normal home base when system damage reaches 25 or so.

Lashio and Bhamo AFs are closed down in 2 days. Koniu was not very happy about this. He has moved his fighters forward. I am also seeing an 8 ship TF moving towards Akyab. Might be a bombardment group. I might have a few suprises waiting for him.

Bombed. Jap SAG sinks a supply TF (2 DMS's and 4 xAKs). In return our carriers attack this SAG (2CA's, 2 CL's, and 2 DD's). We sink the CA Nachi, heavlily damage CA Chikuma, CL's Isuzu, Abuluma, and a DD. 15 Jakes are reported destroyed 8 by ground. Koniu is distraut over this action. He asked if this was a trap or was I doing something around the Marshall's. [:D] Time for some psyops. I will follow up with more strikes tomorrow from my carriers. I see a lot of units prepping for Wotje and Maloelap. Mostly ID's. I think if I can keep hitting him he will stop his invasion plans for the Northern Marshall's. Oh yea Bettys flew from Roi Namur and damaged 2 CA's. Not nice. They are limping back to PH. Fighters are covering them as we speak.

15 Jakes corresponds to more than the likely scout plane load for Chikuma [4], Nachi [3], and 2 CLs with 1each. FOW anyone?
Of course the Jakes could have been destroyed directly by the bomb hits or fires, but if fires got that bad the ship likely went down too. [:)]
Edit - corrected seaplane load figure for the cruisers.

We lose 12 Hudson's, 6 B17F's, 6 Blenheim IV's, 5 beaufighers, 5 P38's, 3 Wellington's, and 2 P39's. Koniu loses 18 Tojo's, 13 Nick's, and 13 Oscars. I am sweeping again next turn with more fighters. I now have my first 4E ace and triple ace.
