Another important round of World Cup qualifiers coming up tonight; Poland vs England (some history there), Germany vs Sweden, Romania vs Holland, Spain vs France (all three top of the table clashes), Belgium vs Scotland, Croatia vs Wales and Portugal vs Northern Ireland are some of the tasty offerings this evening. But the really monster match; the one we have all been waiting for kicks off in just under an hour's time.... San Marino vs Moldova..[:D]
Unfortunately I was not able to watch this important match. How was it?
Warspite1

Er.... No idea. Best result of the week was a toss up between Sweden and Northern Ireland. I'll go for the Irish simply by virtue of the quality of their goal.

Good wins for Spurs and AIK Solna last night so qualification to the next phase of the Europa League remains a possibility [:)]

Indeed. But for AIK it feels like advancement is a remote possibility. But if we get help from the other results in the group it might go our way. Impressive effort by The Spurs. [:)]

Not as far as I know. But 3 games down, no wins and losing to West Ham isn't great. More concerning for Abramovich is the reaction of the crowd to Benitez - and it shows no sign of let up. If they were to fail to qualify for the Champions League next week, followed by less than 3 points in the Premiership the following week, I would be unsurprised if he is shown the door.

Newcastle or Metalist

then for the last 16 play the winners of

Anzhi Makhachkala or Hannover

I can live with that draw. Certain beats Lyon then Inter ...

Yep.

Dunno what's gone wrong with the boys this year though.
I think someone dropped performance decreasing dope into the tea.

Difficult one. Did they just out-perform last year or just suffering a temporary dip this year? You could certainly do with Cisse scoring....as could I as he's in my dream team [8|]
