No surprise point to either side and AA negates LND. That was fun...

FTR2 from hex 75,40 to the 1-box, thank you.

Edit: Changed my mind and sent out one fighter.

Both sides roll 4, no combat.

If Axis want to, they can initiate combat on CSV.

CW sends FTR2 to box 0 and NAV to as high a possible (I think box 2).

I continue impulse later.

Then the SUB feels somewhat exposed, and decide that safety might be a safer course. SUB stay low.

Yes. I decided to have a go at it if the planes stayed at their bases. And play it safe and avoid combat if they flew.

Not that many alternatives when you already have the SUB at sea. [:)]

USA reacts with shock that Germany invades Greece, and the Greek diaspora demands US intervention. Sanctions against Germany are considered. Italian declaration on Greece is barely noticed. (Rolls were 2 and 7)

Will Greece align with CW, or France? (USSR can not be considered as they are neutral, even though MWIF doesn't know about the neutrality [:D])

Align with CW.

INF to Athens.
MTN west of Athens.
2x CP to Crete.
2x CP to Lemnos.
Remaining ships to Athens.

Since decision has been made, I will say this - I have never thought about a Free French Greece, but I would think this offers some intriguing possibilities. Would allow CW to respond with a Naval impulse while Greeks could maneuver a variety of small amounts of units with an FF Combined impulse. Different upsides to that in different games.
