1. Unfortunately my instinct last turn concerning a possible landing in the West was true. [:(]
2. The allies made a major landing east of Brest.
3. Interestingly they also made a secondary landing in the Netherlands.

1. The British army that landed in the Netherlands is destroyed.
2. To the west, the British airborne unit dropped south of Cherbourg is destroyed and the US army south the airborne is mauled.

1. U-boats sink 14 MPPs headed to Russia last turn.
2. U-371 moves out of Pestro to make room for the badly damaged U-35 (at 2-steps).
3. U-371 intended to move to Narvik but was prevented (i.e., surprised) by an RN DD squadron.
4. U-377 is now the only U-boat on patrol along the Murmansk convoy route.

1. SNLF defending Truk knocked down to 4-steps (4-steps knocked off).
2. Because of the USN bombardment and air strikes was unable to reinforce any of the lost 4-steps.
