Taken. I really liked it.
I liked it also. Straight up " good guys vs bad guys" type movie.
I thought it was OK. Just. It started out well, but-IMO-became formulaic 'kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out' shootfest. Not that there's anything wrong with that sort of flick every now and then.ORIGINAL: BrucePowers

Some of the action scenes seemed over the top too. I found myself repeatedly suspending my disbelief that Liam Neeson (great actor that he is) was able to take such repeated physical punishment without breaking a hip or some such. And there's the usual 'highly skilled opponent with automatic weapon can't hit the broad side of a barn' flaw from time to time as well.
Sprior-have you seen "Inglorious Basterds"? I won't discuss the movie in this forum-PM me if you are interested in my thoughts on it.

Good call.

I believe so. I think Craig Wottsisface is signed up for more. The rumour is Danny Boyle is directing it.
Apparently there's to be a 4th Bourne too.

Yes we do. A mishmash of Anglo/Celtic/French/Spanish/American Indian influences, tossed around with a heaping helping of phonetic and illiterate spelling tendencies thrown in.

A particular favourite of mine is Tullahoma, Tennessee. As Foote writes in the book, Tullahoma comes from the Greek words "Tulla", meaning "mud" and "Homa", meaning "more mud"...[:D]
