A buddy of mine bought Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition during the current Steam sale for €20. He was quite happy with that until he realized just how long it would take him to download his 22Gb purchase...[:D]

Saw a Civilizations 5-pack 'Ultimate Super Duper Something or Other" collection in a bargain bin for $10 yesterday. Thought about it for 2 seconds and let it pass.

Imo well worth both his investment of time and money . . . saying that I never downloaded it.

For 20 euros you can't go wrong, I keep coming back to dabble with it.

Fantastic game. I'm just glad I have it on disks...[:D]

Did you ever get the follow-up . . . . the Awakening or some such? Was wondering if it was worth it.

[DuckofTindalos]

I did. It's worth it, but not by much. Over much too soon.

Was afraid of that. Still, considering how good the first was, I'll probably pick it up. Thanks.

No, she did take it out on the pitbull this morning after it chewed a rug. Someone got a hurt real bad..........

latest discovery on the Dobbie is worrying.....he growls when you hug him. We don't think it's an aggression issue as its contrary to his disposition in all situations we've noted (people and animal). We think it's anxiety.....the dog appears to be a little claustophobic. Still....when a big Dobbie starts growing in the vacinity of your face.....you tend to get a little concerned. Dog definately has more trust issues with men than women. We continue to work on the dog while openly wondering if the prospective new Dad will be able to handle the thing.

meanwhile the addition has overtaxed our lung systems.....he's detoxing so bad the dander level has us both heavily conjested to the point where we have to sleep in seperate rooms due to "noise" issues while breathing.

someone gonna get [another] bath real bad..........

We're, uh, lounging.....

Edit: or playing a turn, or (in my case) waiting for a turn (and lounging).....

Another edit: or chasing the stupid cat who wants to eat the bird. [8|]

[Mynok]

You're lounging recklessly is what you're doing.

[Mike Solli]

Stupid cat and noisy, rotten bird. Driving me nuts!

Hi all,

Good evening!

Off to concert hall and symphonic orchestra concert...

Far more cultured than me. I have a bar appointment after work, the music there is strictly of the ambient variety. Enjoy yourself.

Ooo....another lover of classical music here......very nice. Actually, I'm not so much into the symphonic stuff as chamber music of the Renaissance and Baroque varieties. But I like some Beethoven and Mozart thrown in there too.
