What? It's only the 29th. Isn't it?

I'm going upstate tomorrow until Sunday.

So far upstate you outrun the internet? We talking Yukon Territory here or something? [:'(]

Hi all,

Good evening!

Off to concert hall and symphonic orchestra concert...

Leo "Apollo11"

Ooo....another lover of classical music here......very nice. Actually, I'm not so much into the symphonic stuff as chamber music of the Renaissance and Baroque varieties. But I like some Beethoven and Mozart thrown in there too.

Mozart is by far my favorite. Whenever anyone asks me what music I like, I usually tell them it's from guys who've died a couple hundred years ago. TSO is a unique group that I like. They play a lot of classical. I get this strange enjoyment from them playing it on an electric guitar. Not my normal tastes. My kids were really excited about how much I enjoyed them.

Where are you lounging vacationers when we need a little PDP, eh? [:-]

We're, uh, lounging.....

Edit: or playing a turn, or (in my case) waiting for a turn (and lounging).....

Another edit: or chasing the stupid cat who wants to eat the bird. [8|]

Who gave you the bird? [:D]

My daughter and wife are animal nuts. The daughter bought the bird while I was deployed. [8|]

Stupid cat and noisy, rotten bird. Driving me nuts!

Do you live in a Sylvester and Tweety cartoon? [:D]

Sometimes it feels like it.

We have several of their Christmas albums. They are a nice change of pace.

It was just the icing on the cake of a few incidents. I have to say that I got very angry. I tried hard but sadly made my daughter cry. And I didn't even use bad language, call anyone names or shout. As I said, I don't like him or his family.
Why his family? Have you met them?

We're talking and joking together again now. Daughter that is, not git face.
Any relation to "Sniveling little rat face" or "Dull, dreary, boring and awful"? I'm most familiar with that git lineage.

pre-New years hangover?

WE GOT SNOW!

people are panicking.....a whole half inch is on the ground! yeeeehaw!

People around here are nuts... less than an inch and the Seattle Times is reporting a seven mile backup on I-5 beween Seattle and Everett!!!

That's not nuts. Nuts is a 5 minute shower causing a 3-hour traffic jam on the 101. [8|]
No, comrade red mouse. Nuts is living in a place that a 5-minute shower routinely causes a 3-hour traffic jam.

Hi all,

We here have -2 degrees Centigrade but with blue skies and sun (albeit cold sun - not much warmth in it)...

BTW, this summer we had great concert of "Musicians of the Globe - Shakespeare's Music"... it was wonderful... those old lutes play so beautifully...
